Hm.. Your idea is good, but look at your wall. What's wrong? Just look at it, i can see your colour combination is very worst. The brightness in your characters and the background really didn't match. And the result??? A very poor wall although your idea is a good one. Sorry for a cruel comment.

I think the bg of the church is a good idea. I don't think it's a poor wallpaper, maybe the characters need more work on it.

the idea is great but i think you should add shadows to Ed and Al cus the way it is right now it looks like they are kind of flooting in the air and not connected to the backgroung. it's not a bad wallpaper, it's actually pretty good. just needs some more work :)

Yeah giving Al a shadow might help. But otherwise this is a really well-made wall ;D

Are the pictures of them from the movie? I've seen the entire series, but I've never seen Al in his larger form. The church background definitely suits the Elric brothers, though I agree yarock6, they do look like their kind of floating.

Too many focus points; it would be beneficial for you to remove the guy in the background or the guy in the foreground, or fade one.

The church bg is nice, but the characters stand out a little too much. Giving Al a shadow would definitely help, as well as maybe making him a little less bright. Otherwise, great job.

Nice setup of mood and tension, but the characters are a tad bit too big in scale, when looking at the building in the backround. Slightly softening the backround (ever so slightly) might also give the image a bit more of a natural appearance.

This really reminds me of the painting "American Gothic" (Google it, if you don't know what that is). I don't know if that was your intention or not, but the end result is pretty funny. :D

I think theres a problem with the perspective in this wall. Things close up should be clearer with more detail, unless the focus is indeed on the Church. Work on that some and this would be a good wall.

Whoa, I thought the church was the original background! Great job there! Ed has such a serious look on his face.. heh :) The lighting on his face is a bit off though, IMHO. Is there a tree above his head? If not, then there shouldn't be any major shadowing at all on his face.

Im not sure a church goes well with the Elric's, especially since Edward plainly says hes agnostic. But still you did a nice job putting it together.

Excellent job on the vector. and the background is so very well done too. great scan choice as well. i like the two solemn figures stand there... they just make me smile. nice work on the clouds, the trees, and the house in the background. the wall looks nice and simple. definitely classic.

This is such a powerful wallpaper. The lightings, the strength, and the background... they look stunning altogether. Excellent!!

I think this stands out from the rest because the graphics look so different then just the regular cartoony thing. Even if they look sureal, it works for it and sets it into it's own category.

It's a good-looking wallpaper, but unfortunately the compression artifacting takes a lot of the detail away from the character's faces. A less-compressed version would look considerably better at full size.

Hm......I can really tell what you wanted to do here, and it turned out pretty good, but.....unfortunately, to me, it still looks awkward. That's not your fault - it's just that those images weren't really made to have a background. Or to be together in the same picture, really. They were just two seperate "portraits", I guess is one way of putting it.

Still, your attempt looks pretty good. Despite that I can still obviously tell the origins of the images, you did a good job with what you had.
