Clannad Butterflies

I think your previous wallpaper was kind of neat. I'm not exactly sure what I think of this one though, there's a lot of things in it, but I can't say its cluttered. It's actually quite cool, if there was one thing I would have done if this was my wallpaper... I would have vectored Nagisa's wings so they look more like her, tried to match the lighting and hue of the girl to the surrounding a little more, and I would probably have tried to blur the strings of light and other brushed effects... but that's just a quick thought!

It gives off a magic aura, especially the grass looks lovely - I'm looking forward to your next wallpaper!

i think u have a really good concept but i think its too busy and the viewer gets distracted by all those white lines going all over the place. but i love the idea of giving her wings and having her surrounded by butterflys bc she is definitely sweeet.

I'm amazed something like this is allowed on Animepaper. No offense but it looks chaotic, amateurish and the brushes don't integrate at all color wise. Her resized wings look poor quality and the grass seems synthetic. Your other wall is really good, but this one needs to be redone from scratch.

Oops, there are so many things going on here :/ You kinda need to remove some of elements in this wallpaper...it's lacking in cohesion and composition.

Since you are using brushes, and a lot of them actually, and they are made out of stock photos, they are too realistic for anime artwork. If you still want to work with them you have to either paint them or vector them, depending on the style of the artwork you're using. In this case, the way to go was to vector as @Sezuki mentioned.

Remember, most of the times less is more.

What a wonderful backgroud it is. The butterflies with various colors are drawing beautiful wonderland for her.

There's too much happening in this wallpaper. If she's meant to be a butterfly.. shouldn't the wallpaper be more graceful and less cluttered..like a simple angelic...or mystical feel...

Perhaps, minimise the number of butterflies and dim the glow the bubbles (i actually like the bubbles..).

The background is too messy, and it's too overpowering -people would focus on the background instead of Nagisa. The wings also look unnatural to me and the effects and brushes are too overused. I love the concept and feel you are trying to create, but everything is too cluttered.

Removing some elements and improving the wings of Nagisa, I think it would be a great wallpaper, the idea is good indeed.

Revision 2 is definitely more my cup of tea. It draws out the girl perfectly and keeps the focus focused. Nice!

I personally like revision 1 better because of the color. I think that you should just toss out the wings, honestly. They look really out of place because they are too blurry. Also, I think this wall is just too busy.

too much going on, too busy, and too overly done effect...kinda reminds of Edward Cullen =.=

Got to agree with Samik's view - a bit overdone with just one character.

I like it. I also like revision 2 over the first. But if I had to make a suggestion, I'd say to find a way to bring Nagisa's presence more into the foreground without actually moving her closer. The image looks like it is focused on the wings on her back rather than Nagisa herself.

Wow, I think both walls are amazing XD I like the bright airy colours of the first revision but I absolutely love the wings on the second one! Good job!

Really pretty, I like the contrast of the black and purple. You don't see those dark colors associated with Clannad much, it's nice.

Wow, this is really beautiful, yes it does seem to have a lot going on but even though it does she still stands out and brings your focus straight to her.
