This is an old project I started last year when I was watching Kaichou wa maid-sama. I wanted to do a wallpaper featuring the lovely couple, but I just couldn't get anything together and just threw the unfinished work on the "To do"-pile (read: Will probably never do ). I kind of wanted to make something clean, modern and stylish; and yesterday I found it again. After messing around in photoshop I came up with a whole new idea which resulted in this wallpaper. Even if I had to scrap the high-detailed vexels it was ultimately worth it as I couldn't see a way to fit them together. I find it incredible what you can do with a pair of low-res screenshots and some magic (or image-editing).
What did I learn from this wallpaper?
- Planning is key, but staying on a sinking boat won't do anyone any good!
- The bigger the vector the harder it is to incorporate well
Thank you for viewing!

It's really simple and fantastic. In the blue curtain, thier shadow hiding their identity is flowing mysterious atmosphere.

Simple and nice. Your integration of the characters into the background suited the mood. There are also some color change to the background, which is nice because just one type of coloring would be boring....
