It pretty obvious what this game are so let met describe it in few words, what you should know about Bayonetta. Chicks that get increasingly naked as they kill things. Exactly what certain gamers (those horny, lonely, and embarrassing kind of gamers) wanted to spend their money on. As most young males are connoisseurs of two things: Video games and breasts. Bayonetta is evolutionary pinnacle of both ridiculous video game spectacle and confounding, fetishistic boobie-watching, should therefore be considered the ultimate in lowest common denominator pandering.
Almost every game has huge, heaving breasts in varying states of undress, but in other games they're either completely incidental - like somebody made a "Huge Titties" brush in Photoshop and had an epileptic seizure while using it. In Bayonetta, however, the lovely heroine is constantly in varying states of undress; it's actually harder to keep her clothes on. If boobs in other games are Princess Zelda, patiently waiting for you to complete the rest of the game before you get to see her, then Bayonetta's breasts are more like Na'vi from Ocarina of Time: Constantly on display, making themselves known and giving advice (usually "Let us out!") damn near to the point of annoyance.

LOL Okay CK. I think it's a nice wall, but after your description of this particular game genre I think I should spend more of my precious free time exploring the gamer's world. I am definitely missing out. XD

I have no idea why the name Bayonetta isn't written: バヨネッタ, but it's ベヨネッタ which reads Beyonetta... Anyway, love the wall, chicks with guns are awesome and more lovely to play and watch kicks ass than dudes with guns XD

I really love bayonetta, but I don't quite understand the posting of this wallpaper. I'm not the most intelligent person when it comes to art, but this wallpaper just looks like one of the wallpapers the makers of the game put out. The only difference is that this wallpaper is just zoomed in on one spot of the main picture. Also, never seen someone write their review of the game genre instead of writing about their work of art in the comment. I don't know if you are trying to sound funny in your comments, but everything in your comments about the game is a gross exaggeration. I really hope this wallpaper had more work done to it other than you just zooming in on one spot of someone's work.

Agreed. I understand it as a statement though, but Bayonetta isn't just about boobs, as it has a totally over the top graphical style, over the top gameplay and a weirdly jazzy soundtrack. Having a barely clothed, super tall, 4-eyed brunette as main character just matches that whole theme and frankly, . It just adds to the whole visual experience, which isn't some cheap soft-porn like DOA Beach Volleyball, but Bayonetta is actually a work of art. I'm not completely trying to justify the perversity in the game, the creators did indeed want to trigger some weird fetish in the gamer (a girl like that is NOT a normal teenage boy's fantasy), but the game wasn't a big success afaik, so there goes your theory that this is what gamers want. Also take in mind that this is very much a Japanese game and the Japanese are perverts anyway. So I very much object to the statement of Bayonetta being the "ultimate in lowest common denominator pandering", because I think that it's rather games like DOA, Tekken, etc. that are, in regards of the female portrayal, the crackwhores on the side of the road, while Bayonetta is the high-class burlesque lady in a fancy club.

I seriously wonder why the image is so enlarged, I hope it was a resolution thing but the smallest one looks the same. Since I don't know how the original image looks like, I can't comment on your work on the background. But I think the image needs work :/

I understand your point, It's very valid, and if we linked that with your wallpaper, It's a good job. I like see this Bayonetta's side: Violent, furious, far away from the typical comercial view (beautiful, always cool, too-much-like-a-sex symbol, etc.)But... the game is more like that. Is an excelent game, fun, well made, good history...we can't deny that his creator is a freaky pervert, but is a good game. It's just my opinion dude ;D (+1 favorite from the wallpaper)

Your comment is much more worth reading than looking at the wallpaper.... no offense meant. Still, I have not played the game yet so I cannot say much about this. The wallpaper is still kinda blurry. It could be better if its more clear, esp the red ties and the metal pieces that shaped like a moon. You've got a concept here, but need to develop it more. Still.... good job on this one

Well, it is clear that at some points the image is half damaged. Not sure how to explain it to her. But you can see especially in sections of the forehead with hair, ribbons and even the accessories that are attached to her hair.
But I found something kind of strong talk that way about the world of gamers. Bayonetta to my mind is only a Devil May Cray which the main character is a woman and instead of demons only just entering the "angels" on tough guy and her weapons, methods of killing involving sensuality that differ from the style "cool set " of Dante. What thus arises the great works by placing them as two couples.
This is a matter of taste, and I will not discuss details, each with their opinion and everything like that. Anyway, interesting wallpaper.
