Good work. The characters look nice and 3D with the gradients; yet the gradients are obvious which is good. They just compliment the picture but don't overpower it. It's really clean and cute. My only (small) complaint is that some of the lines look a bit straight, but it's not a big issue. That's probably just the style of the scan.
