A special wall this is... - HAPPY GRADUATION TO ME LAST APRIL 7!!!! :D - MY FIRST VECTOR WALL - MY FIRST VACATION WALLPAPER ;) - A WALLPAPER OF CHANGE >:D
Just graduated high school last April 7. I'm currently on my vacation before finally entering the crazy world of college life. My course (Advertising) has something to do with multimedia (editing stuff, photography, etc...) so I'm taking the opportunity this vacation to improve even just a little. This wall is, right, my first full vector wall. Although I already vectored before in this collab wallpaper.
Vectoring IS a pain to the eyes. I vectored a screenshot of a beautiful sleeping Princess Sakura from Tsubasa Chronicle. She's really pretty isn't she? She looks angelic in that.. ~~~ Its quite hard for me since I'm not satisfied with lines that have the same thickness/thinness. I experimented with different strokes or whatever you call that... I'm so happy that I'm finally comfortable with pen tool in shape mode (thanks to Nysha's Ultimate Vectoring Guide!)... I'm not uploading a high version of that though, my monitor is too small to handle it any longer. -_-
Since she's sleeping, the word "dreamscape" suddenly popped in my mind. (I wonder what's wrong with me) So I decided to keep it simple and put some bokeh for finishing touch. The song "Baby baby" by 4men really inspired me to continue vectoring. The "beautiful" is based from the chorus part (you're so beautiful) and the "can't stop from looking at you" (there's not a thing that can stop me from looking at you). I know that I suck when it comes to these kind of typography, but I really want to feature the song... :P
Sometimes, having a nice dream feels so magical. When you're having a nice dream, you're making a nice expression even you're sleeping. And you have the wonderful feeling that you're in a different place. Not that related to the song, but its how what I wanted it to feel like, its really hard to explain... -_-
I'd like to dedicate this to a lot of persons, especially:PAOPORSCHE - the one who told me to learn how to vector :P a simple comment on his wall led me to him and its nice to know we're both Filipinos. I admire his style of parody collage-like style of walling so much. He contributed a lot to me even though he's really busy in real life.

-its very clean and the thickness of the lines doesn't really bother me much, although i'd say add more shadow? to add depth.. :D but its fine as it is.. :P -you do have a way with the fonts, it fits your theme well, and the title compliments her expression perfectly...

Not much of a close-up fan but the vector is pretty neat and clean. :D Thank you so much for the dedication as well. Would love to see more of those lights (varying in sizes and colors and blurriness). ^^v

Wow, a great work for the first work, it really look so nice & clean. I like the lighting around her, they look so match with the Character, and I also like your title, no too much fancy fonts.
It's true~ vector in a hard job, but when you see the complete job, you will feel the satisfy of it(^^)

First of all Congrats!
I'm not really a fan of typo/ wallpaper with fonts but the way you add them is just nice ^^
The vectoring is simple, but just like what IMKhaos said, more shadows. but it's fine considering your first vector. One tip I can give you is that, don't color your lineart black. It makes the wallpaper's lines looked jagged. Go for colors that are close to your base colors but a bit darker. If you feel that your lines still looked jagged, apply around .2-.3 px of gaussian blur tp smoothen it out ^^

it's a very beatifull picture of sakura, i'm a little sad about the ending of xxxHolic, i was hoping that in the end all stories ending happy and explain a lot of things. I would like to know if somebody have news about an extra or an OAD where CLAMP give a real end to those series??

Keeps up with Sakura's 'angelic theme'. Dreamscape I think is a song on the TC soundtrack so it fits well.I like the font you used(for the 'Beautiful Dreamscape' part).
