Hi~

This is my entry for VectaDesu Contest #12 - Vectoring Beat 'em Up

This time I would like to work on more challenge vector, try to upgrade myself~

I use a lot of Illustrator effect call "Mush Tool", it's a hard control effect, really use a lot of time for work out on it, lucky the outcome is satisfy. I hope you guys like the effect that I put into this vector. Here's the original scan:

Alright I was waiting to see this.. Truly an awesomely great character. I can't wait to see how this goes over. Personally This will do really well and if you make it into a wall it will do extremely well too. +FAV Great JOB!

You mean the "mesh tool"? The one where you can manipulate gradient effects by placing colors on anchor points and change their direction/strength with the handle bars and such? It's one method to produce more realistic shading. Good job for trying it out. :3 The thumb looks good, but upon full view the outlines are extremely jagged for some reason. D:

Nice colors and effects! great vector, but you have this jagged borders on the wing-like things of her head. Good luck on the contest!

Of course i won't miss this piece! when i saw the thumbnail was like "wonder did this?" D: your skills go high with this work is so stunnig, without overusing the elements/tools, i feel this better then the scan, and that's hard to do. I also love the sig you make. Congrats "pats pats" nakama.

I remember when I viewed this a few days ago.

The linework was jagged like whoa but now it's all smooth. Not sure if it wasn't finished processing or what but it looks better to me now without looking jagged like a mountain range. The colors are very rich and deep. This is very pleasing to my eyes because it makes me want to eat the vector and wonder what kind of fruit it would taste like.

I feel that your vector would be a lot better if you tried to make transitions for the shadow's edges.
