Great work! Very artistic and the background complement the girl!

I must say I prefer the colors in the original scan, they're more...diverse. The tree trunk looks good, though, but, as usual, everything lacks more lighting. Also, I believe you wanted to make a soft, melancholy atmosphere but everything is too blurry, especially the highlights in her hair and her clothes.

The dark mood in the wall is awesome. Most impressive are the backgrounds of the wall(especially like revision 1).

The difference between the feel of the two versions is dramatic. The basic theme is the same; but sense of the mood is seriously different between version 1 and 2.

Often, when there is the posting of a second or higher order version the sense of the alternate versions, is that of a small change to better match the decor of my desktop. These two versions are masterful changes of mood. The difference between foggy sepia and butterflies; and shadow grey desolation....

I really don't know how to express it, but I am blown away by your ability to shift the mood like that. Teach a class we all have something to learn from you. You already have my highest honor badge, and I only present it once, but this one gets a fav+ from me because I can't remember any occasion when I've seen someone else do what you've just done.
