Sheesh, who thought I am dead? Did you guys thought of me? Well, I was gone for quite some time due to my apprenticeship. The past 36 weeks I have not opened Photoshop even once. I had no time and no motivation at all. However, yesterday morning I felt the urge to wall again and I did nothing else the past hours. Luckily I have easter holidays (HAPPY EASTER!), so it was not such a big problem. And all thanks to ps cs5. what a nice programm =D Anyways do not expect me to be really active again. Just consider this wallpaper as a expectation since I do not really know if I have the time again to wall. My final exams are in June, just about 5 weeks left. I am kidna scared (but afterwards I have 2 1/2 month free until my labotory starts ;D)
Enough random babbling, now's time for wallpaper information. =D
I actually have a lot of scans I want to wall but I choosed this screenshot of a girl I never saw before just because an idea popped into my mind immediately. So I vectored her, added some shadings and highlights by myself (correct me if I did wrong!) and changed her facial expression. I actually wanted a singing mouth, but could not do it so I went for a simple smiling one. And I closed her eyes. The reflecion in the windows was a pain in the ***. First I vectored the oroginal screenshot and forbot to change her expression, then I was never satisfied with the result. I blurred a bit and make it almost invincible and now you do not really see her weird nose and mouth.
As for the background I used another scan as a reference, namely this: Usi (I got an A in english class - finally! - but somehow what I write still sounds weird for me oO) but since I am bad at painting (and too lazy to try it out again. I was still glad I knew how to vector XD) I went for a simple grass landscape, with a bursh I do not know where I got it (you know it? please tell me so I can give proper credit!)- somewhere from deviantart I think. The left birdie and the airplane were nice to make. I first added more but it was to crowded so the got dismissed. Same for the clouds. Well, it is a cloudless sky, like the last days here =D Maybe it's interesing, but before I choosed the Usi scan, I wanted to make sunflowers but hell! too much work XD

Nice wallpaper! It's very bright and cute! I really don't have any complaints, other than perhaps the wings on the airplane look a bit short to me. Good work.

This wallpaper made me smile. I just watched ep 5 of this show. I completely love Ohana because she's so positive and bright and your wallpapers brings those side out of her. It's really -her- and that makes me smile. The background is nice, fitting for the situation. I love this wallpaper. You did a great job with it. Especially the highlighting! +FAV

What a nice and cute wallpaper! It's a bit unrealistic that the airplane is flying so low (and maybe birds don't fly this low too), but it still doesn't feel too out of place, and wallpapers don't have to be realistic anyway lol. I like the whole color scheme of this wallpaper! It's very nice and sweet, and creates a very calm and serene mood. I think you did a great job in vectoring too. :) And it seems like you did this wallpaper without watching the series, which is quite amazing because you managed to create the mood that fits the character Ohana so well. Great job! :)
