Vector seems kinda unsharp(if it is one). Also The BG seems like it isn´t really fit for the whole thing. All in all a nice idea.

I'm sorry, but I'm not all that impressed. The generic drop shadow on the scan detracts from the wallpaper in general and gives it an Amateur vibe, makes it look like you created a background (Which is good, BTW), slapped an extracted scan on it, and called it a wallpaper.

Looking back on your other works, I know that you can do better then this, not much changed in Photoshop other then GUI overhauls and the addition of Filters that aren't of great use to wallers, in the Creative Suite photoshop versions to justify this drop in quality.
