So i wonder how long its actually took me to finish this.. Too long im guessing.
<i>I apologize for my crappy painting on the right hand side...more so than the rest.</i>

Anyway.. I felt like finishing this over the last two weeks or so. I got as far as the base colour for the tree and then...gave up until two weeks ago XD

Well i wanted it too look like a cat, hiding from the due to come rain. Since cats always disappear and hide before it starts raining. So i didnt want to put in the rain, just the dark cloud cover..sort..of...thing..yeah..

Though im not too good at doing skys..=/ Don't seem to get any better the more i practice D: But i did my best!! xD

Anyway hope yous like it ;D Writing says Kakusu ame... hiding from the rain LOL XD

I really love the painting here but IMO though, I do think that it could use a bit of some textures in it (particularly, the tree trunk/branch and its leaves). :D Other than that, great job overall.

I actually find the smoothness / lack of textures on the trunk really interesting. This is going to sound nuts, but it reminds me of a hard candy. And I'm unfamiliar with the anime and the character but this is a really nice purple!

Maybe, you feel you could have done a better job of painting this one, but as it is now this is a nice wall. I like the theme and the basic concept. It's cute and fits really well into the traditions of Nagi Ryou artwork. I am not going to try to critique your technique, I am just going to enjoy this one.

There is something nice about the way your neko is merging into the tree; it gives the whole thing a bit of "sex appeal." I don't know how else to describe the way this wall keeps playing with my attention, so I will just let the commentary end here. Thanks for sharing.

Wah I first thought of Fern Gully when I saw the thumb - the bright rainforest greens against that dark rainy sky. :D About time you made a wall of this girl! The purple+bright yellow/green also stands out nicely. :3

what i like of this wp is the use you gave to the vector into THIS background, you worked out! Strong tones as in the vector, the tree is weird, but nice, is original.
