I've seen many different variation of wallpapers with this particular scan and I must say that your idea is truly refreshing. I love, love, love the color combination and the way that the character emerges from the overall scenery. Lovely work!

The background is too plain & empty compared the complicated art of the character from Death Note. A few electricity brushes cannot fill it up.

The wallpaper and the concept are nice, but unfortunately I don't really see the destruction of Tokyo in the wallpaper. I see the city behind Light, but it's still in one piece. When I read your description, I think of Light and those Shinigami (just to keep the essence of your wallpaper) walking down the streets with destroyed houses in flames, people lying on the ground... Well, it's just an idea. :) Otherwise, I think the wallpaper itself is done very well

You did a good job on this wallpaper. The scythe is very appropriate for Light, and he looks fairly evil as well. I think the colors are fine, and the lightning in the background is a nice touch. I do wish there was a higher resolution though. In any event, really nice work.

Really nice wallpaper, although Light could be a bit sharper. I like his scythe, definitely makes him look like a sick fucko (in a good way ;) )
