Entry for VectaDesu Special Contest #1 Mecha Madness
This is Escaflowne Escaflowne Escaflowne hoooh! ta-dam!
The anime for excellence, one of the best of his Time. The escaflowne original sountrack, helps me to do it, thanks to yoko kanno and Hajime Mizoguchi, for the excellent work there, one of the best soundtrack i've ever heard in my entire life.
About the vector, I love his figure, is a complicated and weird mecha, at first sight i had to draw a couple of parts, shoulder, coat, ribbons, I thought his shoulder will be my big problem and, yes, i don't know how many times I resized and drew his shoulder o__o i guess the most annoying part was the source itself, is enough small to drain my eyes o__o!!,after all, a good exercise to synthesize pixels. The Hands was very difficult too, i guess is the most detailed part, knuckles, fingers, erm pretty mess with the pixels there, the head was interesting with the shades there. As you can see The idea was clean the damages parts from the Mecha, almost all of them. keeping a few of them.
well, mMy principal objective was highlight the tones, shades, without modifying the substance. Keeping his nature, just Make it better.

ZOMG. You actually did a vector for the special contest of VD! :D Great job! It lacks some details but you can see that it is Escaflowne alright. :D I don't think I'll be able to make one for this special round.

Awesome job Saiya =D It's so good to see another of your vectors up. I had totally forgotten about the special comp D= I will have to check out the deadline to see how much time is left, so I'm not sure if I'll make it for this one either. I've only just finished my entry for the regular VD comp. I'm not a fan of the cloak, but the Mecha itself looks great, excellent job in my opinion!
