So another wall from me :D this time it's Queen's Blade. I haven't seen the series but the silhouette scan was very pretty indeed :D So I was inspired to make a wally from it.
-extracted Tomoe from the scan -added a chaotic smash of brushes growing from central character -created some blending effects on the brushes and character -put in the lighting effects to add some depth -topped it off with a grunge texture to the central character
The theme I was going for was chaotic yet calm :D The brushes are kinda crowded and crazy (sorry to those who don't like crowded brushes much >.<) but glow with a soft color while the central character gives off more of a calm feeling.
Layers: 20 (aproximately) Time: 5 hours Scan: HereSpeacial thanks to srsn, blitzbullet, josephine12cute, and rissa-chi for their imput on the wally and pointing out things that needed to be fixed :D
(P.S. can you find the butterfly?~)

It's not bad. But i personally don't like it very much, still good job! :D

Found the butterfly. ;)
And I think it's definitely eye-catching. It took me a moment to fully get what the image was (probably because I don't watch Queen's Blade) but overall I think this is nice. The texture under the figure is cool but I'm not sure if it's necessary.

i found the butterfly!
the concept is interesting. i like those different shades of green/grey. but i'm not very fond of the texture on the sillouette... i think it should be better without it~ overall it's nice wall ) have a nice day! ;)
P. S.: your nickname is nice ;)

Beautiful abstract. I don't usually go for this type of work. However this is a standout image.
Thanks for sharing!

Phantastique~
Even if it first appears to be very flat the varying saturation and luminosity makes it look much deeper than expected. Together with the glow and high contrast to the darkness this is a very striking yet surprisingly pleasant-to-the-eye experience. A definitive favorite!

great job on the wall, maybe you can try adjusting the center piece to a solid colour instead of adding brush strokes/effects on it, would kinda of make it simpler in a sense. anyways just a suggestion.

Wow.. Looks like it's difficult to make it.. But I think if the background more colorful it will be nice.. Anyway keep your good work..

Intriguing idea for the character (I especially like the texture used on her) though the background is commonly used, it works well in complementing the focal point. Love the color you chose to work with.

Love the colour scheme and abstract nature of the print, favouriting for sure!

I personally don't really like that shade of green, looks a bit to dirty for all those crowded brushes (yes they do seem a bit too many for my liking) but i like that paint brush in the center of the shape/silhouette and of course looks like you had put a lot of work into it (i mean 5 hours hey! its 5 hours not 5 minutes!) so it's a thumbs up overall, keep on!
