A Ciel wallpaper at the request of a friend I made a while ago while on the airplane... yep, it was a 15-hour trip, so I really had nothing better to do XD It's very simple but it took a while to figure out the layout, colour scheme, text, etc. I love Ciel. He's one of the only children I can tolerate in anime (Edward Elric and Simon from TTGL being the other two.)

A very simple but effective design. The sepia colors and background texture work very well together. They help to bring everything together seamlessly. Sometimes, a simple idea is the best choice, and as you said, it doesn't mean it's easier! Thank you for sharing your hard work!

I really love the nearly monochromatic colors when dealing with this subject matter. It really speaks to me. Your color scheme is beautiful, almost like an aged piece of parchment. Very nice but I'd love it even more if there was a second version without the text to really accentuate the melancholy theme. Also a size or so bigger would be awesome!
