The scan of Temari was from the AP gallery and submitted by zodd89420.
Temari is one of my favorite characters of the Naruto series, and I think she has grown even more dangerous and elegant in the Shippuden time-skip. I wanted to create a grungy looking wall, I happen to really enjoy grunge walls, and I was aiming to incorporate text into the wall in a way I haven't done before. I looked at various AP artists and tried to add text to the background in a way that would not be obtrusive.
Each section of the background holds a different portion of text: Temari of the Sands (self-explanatory), Embodiment of a Kunoichi (she is fierce, loyal, tenacious, skilled, and ever expanding her skills), Harnesses the power of the fan (since this is her weapon of choice), and Flirtatious and Deadly (she is deadly and can be Flirtatious if she chooses...and has a sly wink going on in the pose).
I created a grunge background with various layers, filters, and noise effects. From there, I started to create the gradient shapes that make up the colored portion of the background. I chose colors that can be found from Temari, her grey dress, the red sash, and her blonde hair. Afterwards I played around with a few grunge and splatter brushes to help finish up the look for the background.
I debated adding grunge effects to the scan of Temari, but ultimately, I felt such distortion took away from her as the central focus. In the end, I opted for the clean-cut image look.

Nice wallpaper. I think the background goes very well with her image. I always found Temari to be a likable character like Shikamaru. All three of the siblings from the Sand have a very unique fighting style. Anyway, I wouldn't mind seeing more of her and less of Sakura. Nice work.

I cannot say this being a bad wallpaper, but in my opinion you should start to use some more advanced techniques, every wall from you feels the very same. Better do one outstanding one as 3 average ones.

My favorite kunoichi and definitely one of the most appealing characters in Naruto. I like how you added some words on the background for Temari. It kind of suits her also the colors are a great added touch. You did a nice job for the background. Good job.

Temari is my fav. girl from Naruto/Naruto Shippuden. There's not many wallpapers about her. Thanks for making one! P.S. Great background colors and the words describing her!
