Hi everyone,

It's been a while since i made a wallpaper, it is a really busy year for me especially with all the school work T_T. Anyway, i got some days free and i decided to create a wallpaper ^_^

I found this lovely scan of Sheryl, i loved her pose which gave me an inspire on how the paper should look. i vectored the character in Ai and then worked on the rest in Ps. In the scan she had that seductive gaze which i changed to a more softer look. i also added a tattoo to her back to make the image cooler and less boring (not sure if i succeeded in this). To tell the truth, the tattoo part was challenging because i don't know alot about tattoos and in the end i just created this design and used it. I took off the earring from the image because i wanted the focus to be on her eyes and the tattoo. Finally, for the background i had several ideas but in the end i went for a Cosmo digital-kind of theme. instead of filling the background with just stars, lights and nebula i added squares to give the wall a different feel.

So in summery, the wok is 50% Ai & Ps each, 30 layers. done in 2 days.

I like what you were going for here but the the vector just seems all wrong. Her left shoulder is very bright for some reason which is throwing the shading off, and her face....it honestly looks...like a nerds face or something. O__O It's oddly elongated and has an awkward expression in comparison to the original. Not showing her hand is also a bit of an issue, it's making it look like there's no reason for her arm to be in that position, making her whole body position seem a little awkward. Like I said, I like what you were going for here but I think it would've been a lot better, in this case, to stick closer to the original scan. I think the background looks great though and fits well with the concept.

i like the concept, my fav. parts are the tattoo, her shiny skin, her fiery hair and the digital bg. but i agree with ~GamerchiX about her face in comparison with the original scan. and from my point of view it will be better a lot if we may see the rest part of her body (below the waist) and her beautiful hand in a fur glove (i ♥ the color which you choose for the fur!) with those changes this wall may be great! good luck :)

I like the vector- it's so bright, clean and crisp! Such detail as tatoo brings to the img more stunning look! Even the bg looks simple, it's perfectly fits the theme! Lovely!

I'm maybe not the first person to say this, but her left shoulder looks really, really weird. In flattening out the colors (usually a very nice effect) you wind up getting rid of the detail that made it look realistic in the original scan, and it winds up looking misshapen. You might want to go back over that section again, or even over the color effect as a whole, to try to get it to look as natural and sexily elegant as the original.

She's one of the characters that I detest the most from that dreadful overrated series but nevertheless, this is a beautiful image of her, that I won't deny. I like the vector style (lack of outlines) think it makes the picture appears more diverse. Revision one is my favorite simply because it looks more authentic to the original and her left shoulder is more accurate, plus the shading stands out more. I think revision two needs a bit of work on the shoulder, and it definitely appears rougher around the edges.
