I used two screens shots to make Jin's vector, one is from the opening of the series. For the rain I used splatter brushes and added some effects (bevel & emboss and motion blur) and placed them here and there. The background is a simple gradient. I added some circles brushes with the same effect of the rain for the drops falling on the water. The bridge is a vector with blur.

Wonderful awesome job!

One of best wall of Samurai Champloo I've seen... The BG is so beautiful and stand his out so nicely! Contrast of blue and orange of the umbrella is clever and attractive. Thanks for sharing!!! (Fav of course!)

I get a sense of serenity from the character which is really enjoyable to gaze at. The overall composition is nice, it gives this wallpaper a very soft and calming feeling, hence the well chosen colors (of the umbrella especially) and the nice image that you chose to use. Those rain drops appear quite authentic, wonderful work!

I really like the feel / atmosphere of this wall. The simplicity and composition are nice, and it portrays the calm personality that Jin possesses. The blurring also adds good depth. Very well done!
