Is this even good enough to be here? feels intimidated by the walls that blow this one out of the water >_>
Anyhow, this is an older wall I made, and I'm still pretty happy with how it looks. But, I kind of regret making it with such small dimensions now, because it doesn't fit for my new monitor!~ D;
When I first started on this piece, the colors were much, much lighter - lime green and tan, to be exact. However, darker wallpapers are much easier on the eyes; so, I applied a black and white gradient just to the background. Because of how the brushes are slightly see-through, the tan-ish white and green came out really cool. After that, the main problem turned out to be the rainbow above and below Mikado-kun - they were too vibrant colors, and they stood out too much. To make them duller, I duplicated the render, lowered the vibrance, and erased all of Mikado-kun to make him still stand out.
Then, for final touches with color, I added photo-filters and more gradients. Also, I added his initials beside him and the dollars text to make it appear more full. I decided on the title for this one by looking at Mikado-kun's clothes.
It can be found on MT as well. And, this is the scan I used.

Nice! I'm not really one for darker walls but the color palette on this is still nice. They mix really well. I like the brushes you chose for the scan and you didn't over kill them either. The extrtaction of Mikado is a little rough on the egdges in some spots along the pants and hair. It also would have looked better all centered in my opinion but that might also be another personal preference.Congrats on your first wall here! I'm looking forward to seeing some more!

Very neat! The only issue I'd have with it is that Mikado is sort of standing in mid-air. May he could stand sort of on the design?

his edges are a bit blurry at the legs, otherwise it's good

You've done a very good job with it. The colours are nicely harmonic. The lineart of the pants seem not be as sharp as the upper body though :)
