I was going through some scans when I came across this one and really liked it — except for her feet. But, whatever. It was a quick project, a fun, simple vector and I just wanted something simple to maybe put on my desktop. And I really love patterns, so here we are. It's not terribly complex or anything, but I hope you like it. It was just a quick project I started last night. I don't really like all the space on the left side, but I couldn't find anything to make it look better. As much as I don't like all that space, it was the only thing that remotely worked.
I did, however, play with some text. So I uploaded the alternative version for your viewing pleasure. I was on the fence, so I went with the more simple version.
Listened to Lights' album, The Listening while working on this -- Lions and The Last Thing on Your Mind in particular pokes title
Well, hope you enjoy!

I think you've done a great job here. You've got a nice balance of patterns, nothing too complicated, nothing too annoying. The color scheme is really awesome, too. I love this. +fave

Oh, looks really good! :D I liked of the simple and lineartless vector, that bg suits it very well. You chosed well the patterns to use, but I still think that the right side is really empty. For me, the version with the text look better, and I would love if you upload that alternative version here (because of the resolution). :3 Anyway, good job! ^^ ~

Great job! Its such a simple piece, but I think it's really bold and pretty. It makes a strong statement. And I love Mugi~!! :)

I like the choice of colours you chosen for this. The vectoring is really neat as well. I think it would be better if it was mirrored, just since usually icons are on the same side as where Mugi is. A neat thing you can do with this paper is turn the white & black part into a teacup and get rid of the legs at the bottom - that would be pretty cool!
