Finally finished my favourite character in the game. Aldra (prolly she dont have to much love because of that weapon she have between the legs xD)

when i saw this scan...

i saw a lot of potential in this scan for my next wallpaper, so i decided to work in her.

As always, sorry if i changed to much of the girl, but i stick to my painting style, my colors and i'm always looking for fun doing this :)

Making oF Aldora - Queen's Blade / by isshi 2011

In my version i added:

-extended minions

-extended hair (like the adult Aldra)

-magical accessories

-brand new color xD

-Demon opened Eye

soon the Wallpaper.

Listening: Abingdon Boys School / Made in PS & Illustrator / Time:Like 2 weeks

You know how much I love your work Isshi, and I love being able to watch you as you work, it's fascinating to see someone with so much talent creating art like this.

AWESOME SENSEI!!!

It turned out so beautifully, and it was definitely a great idea to go with the purple shading on the ecchi creepy things =P They simply looks amazing!

The eye of the minions and her eyes are amazing, blinking & depth, the red symbol is cool, better than the scan but still the red color is distracting the view from her a bit. Glossy style, shining, may the minions not possess the same big lighting than her, looks opaque, so we don't know what's going on with the light there but, the good side is that's making her stand out differently and good. Nice work darling :3 beautiful work, beautiful shining, nice twist.

yay thank you sai, the minions are creatures of darkness , so of course i did them a little opaque for 3 reasons 1. darkness creatures, didnt want something shiny 2. because they are near the camera is a tech. to make them less important vs the girl (in the back, u know with the use of colors and 3. because the light comes from down there and they are up here looking us xD) so thats are the reasons, anyway ill play with more light in the wallpaper.

Wow, so gorgeous! The way you've extended it makes it looks more like the original source than the actual scan <3 I completely agree with all the comments about the color, the glows and lighting make it just feel more alive and ready to to be animated. Really looking forward to the wallpaper now!

I love the colours and your style so IMO you have really improved the scan rather than "changing to much of her" The scan extension is awesome as well, i like how you changed the eyes, your revision of the eyes is more appealing to me. I love the colour change from the gray black colour to the gold, the gold definitely makes it stand out more! The weapon between her legs kinda...disturbs me But i think thats just me xD

Another vector from you! :D I agree that the scan wouldn't interest me either, but because you've colored it and made unique additions to it, it's much more interesting and is great to look at up close! The gold armor bits look a lot more appealing than dull brown, the bits of jewelry accessories you added fill in the gaps on her outfit, and as usual your gradients and colors are so vibrant! It's really neat to look at your colorings - keep on making more! The only thing I'm not so fond of is the wing covering her body - it would have been cool to see what you could have recreated there instead. :D Anyway, looking forward to see all the additions you'll add to the final wall. :3

Awesome vector wow. You play well with the details and as said before this looks even better then the actual scan artwork! The highlights on the eyes and the simbol the ground are stunning.
