yes, just like you said, it's a bit blurry. you said the scan you used had poor quality? I have a high-res pic of that scan - so I guess it can't be helped but to be a little blurry - kyoko is the one that looks "a little too blurry" for me - but maybe that's only me though. so basically, you changed the background color (which was white) and made some borders around the images so it would look more like photos - since the original pics didn't had the borders. I say you made a good job about the borders ;) hope to see more of your works

..one thing i liked when i took a look at the black cat papers is that so far you seem to be one of the only ones who have made a black cat wallpaper where the scan is softer and not so pencil-drawn-looking, which i thought was a nice change. Ive been looking for black cat wallpapers with the kind of softer 3d look that yours has..alas, this time around like you said, the paper IS a bit too blurry..i could tell the wall was blurry when i saw the 'thumbnail' but the blur becomes even more visible when the paper is displayed in wallpaper sizing. However i forgive you as you mentioned that the scans you had to work with weren't that great =) on the good side though, in terms of concept and content i think you did a good job =D i like the picture idea.. given how Kyouko is holding a camera and sweeping her arm to display the background behind her, the whole idea really fits well together. I also think the black cat clinging onto kyouko's shirt is really cute! ^^ another thing is i like your sense of humor..the way you chose 'snapshots' of the characters in the middle of a funny moment..people who watch the anime/read manga can tell that your wallpaper highlights the characters' personalities. Anyway good job, although this one was a bit too blurry for me, i really hope you'll make more black cat wallpapers in the future

I was thinking it looked kind of blurry.. but I like the effect, in a way. I mean, it's photos, right? And sometimes memories are blurred, so it makes sense. The extraction isn't too bad. The idea is simple and somewhat unoriginal, but hey... I like simple and unoriginal.

Picking a scan of Kyouko with a camera helps the photo concept along more. Although some people may not like this because of the blurryness, I actually really liked the somewhat watery look.
