I'm not overly fond of this version, I just liked having a little more color in the wall. The big open space in the center between them doesn't look quite right, but I wanted to try to include Rinoa in the image.

The first revision looks better, even when is a bit plain compared to the second. Usually I dont like the ghosting effects, though I can bear with them in wallapers which are CG based instead the anime,but to say the truth you destroyed the appeal with the text there. The text is too long, practically has no meaning and the used font is a way too generic. A interesting quote placed instead the girls face, with some remarkable font, could do the job much more properly.

Yeah, I feel the same about the second version, to be honest. The quote is from the game, that's why I used it. It's relevant to the characters, trust me. But like I said in my description, I'm on a new computer, so my font options are very limited >.< But I wanted to include it to hear some others' opinions on the layout of the second version. If I can (don't remember, can I edit revisions? Haven't been on this site in aaaages), I may upload a nicer version after I've got more to work with on this computer.

Wow, I'm surprised to see a wallpaper of this nature. It seems that big-character-in-the-foreground wallpapers are so "a few years ago", haha. But anyway, in my opinion this could have worked out a lot better. The generic handwriting font doesn't seem to fit in at all, and you could have built on the background more, instead of just applying a giant character there. I'm not saying this doesn't have promise; the color scheme is not that bad, and the clouds fit the overall dramatic mood of the character's pose. The problem is that it's just too lazy and sloppy.
Weird resolution, by the way.

I love this game. I love this game so much!
What I dislike in your work is the typo character. So common, so fake-polished. The wallpaper overall look is nice, armonic, but it lacks something. Maybe, I'd have mirrored the Squall image, and changed places with Rinoa. But I like it! :) Keep up the good work

I think you're right about the big open space, and I'm not quite sure how I feel about the text. The colors help, and I do like it better than the original for that reason. Rinoa looks big and ghostly, but again, I think it's because of the open space. It may be a problem of focus. I want to focus on Squall because his pose feels so epic and clear, but Rinoa's size makes me want to focus on her. I feel like my mind is torn.
