Here is another vector by me. The original art is by Hirayama Geki -

This is something that I had started quite a while ago, back before I'd learnt anything about gradients or pretty much any technique beyond basic colour vectoring. This was meant to be my entry for VD#11, but unfortunately my life became too hectic for me to have the time to spend on her.

So I've dug her out of the Works In Progress folder and re-coloured her, added a few touches, had a play with patterns, which I generally don't use, added quite a few gradients to bring her alive, and voila she's ready to show all of you, hoping someone will find her adorable enough to use in a wall. =P

I called her Alice simply because with the chequered dress, it's who she makes me think of.

Unlike from original scan you made color outlines - the thing I really like in vectors, but don't use them often in my vectors. Patterns gave really good effect. Especially I love them on the dress. Nice and sweet color theme, everything looks soft and smooth. Maybe one thing I would change is – her stocking, comparing to the rest light and soft colors it’s too dark. And (but it’s just my fetish opinion) make it stripped (to make her more Aliced).

In overall rate – it’s an amazing vector!

xDDD I have fixed that six toe thing LOL. I have noidea how I managed that, all I can say is it was started months and months ago when I was still a noobling vectorer, haha. lol.

You've done a nice job, but all the patterns kind of get a little too busy for me on full-view. The biggest thing for me is the pattern on her dress doesn't distort over her legs like it would in real life. I think that could use a little tweaking and then it would be perfect. Nice work, though.

I love this vector as much as I love all of your other vectors, which means, very much!

Anyway, this vector is neat and pretty. I love that you've colored the lineart; seems more dynamic this way. And I think the use of patterns is really clever in this case because it makes this look even more dynamic than it already is.

I noticed you changed the stitches on the bear's feet into black which I personally think is more fitting. And you changed the headphones into a headband (both works for me). Good job!

The only thing I think could be changed is the tone of her skin. To me, it seems just a tad grayish and that reminds me of dead looking skin. A bit more pinkish like the original scan is more appealing to me, but it is still a very nice vector.
