It been sometime since I last made a wallpaper(or even touch photoshop..). Was browsing through the scans for Hayate to see this beautiful Scan that urge me to make a wall.

The simplicity in this wall is very nice. It is easy on the eyes. I rather like the effect brought about by the petals covering her in some spots - seems as if she's being slowly buried by them. The typography is simple and it's legible without being too distracting or anything.

The one thing that I spotted immediately, though, was the way the intense black of her hair clashes with the soft colors prominent throughout. The same goes for the black patch by her legs. And, although it looks like you tried to have the light source directly above her, something is throwing it off a little. It could be the actual shading on the render, or I think it mainly is because of the black parts. You could lower the opacity by her leg, and attempt to make the black at her hair a lighter color - possibly a grey with pale pink/red tinge to it.

The petal effect is very nicely done, with typography that blends in nicely with the wall in general. I lol'd at the small comment included in the wall.

Wow, so beautiful. it's so easy to attract people eyes, you're so smart to make pink be the main colour. I personally like the leaf effect because they are just gorgeous!

And also her post is suit with the BG, combine from them, is make your wall giving us a sweet & touching feeling. Your typo also look great. It look simple but still easy to read & forcus.

Anyway~ really a great wall, and I personally think perhaps you can add more colour revision, it may make your wall more choice & be more merit. Fav+ for sure^^

Yay! A wallpaper that has Sakura petals in it!

I love the overall "softness" of the wallpaper which gives it a very tender feeling, for me personally this is a very good thing at the moment. :) I agree with taviastrife about the black patch on her leg, it is kind of distracting and might be better if it was slightly more faded. However I like her hair just way that it is as I really like girls with light-hair on top and dark hair at the bottom.

I also really like the fact that it looks as if the petals are beginning to bury her, as if she had been lying there for quite a while.

Overall an awesome wallpaper that is going straight onto my desktop. A definitive fav+

I loved your wallpaper! It's perfect to set as desktop wall - simple and very beautiful! I just think that some sakura petals doesn't need to be transparent,specially when you are trying to make them look like they're in front of her - you can add blur on them ^^ But overall it's a great work!-

Lol'ed at the title...what is about the 5cm/s? Good job on the eyes...marble bright eyes are the best! And also the soft color blends in well with the character, the petals are like looking through a kaleidoscope and stained glasses...giving it a feel of slumbering in infinite space...^^

On the original pic she looks over the floor, but you did make her looks like drowning between blossoms which is a great idea, quite romantic and shy, but she is still on the floor looking at something or someone, it's interesting as a wallaper, I guess the guys will love it. To follow the idea of a kind of lake of blossloms, why not extend the blossoms at the edge of the BG? Actually looks like is he floating and i like that, it looks good, is a very nice result. Even when i like the hair, is too dark for a bright superficie. However is a good work ^^
