Hi my dear fellow APers as well as my dear friends here at AP ! Half a year since my last submission and I Finally felt like making again -_- ! Been long time since an anime had captivated me so much and not mention Erio drove me mad . She is way too Cute and innocent for her own good XD. Too bad it ended.
anyway I had to show my contribution to this awesome series or I would have suffered nightmares in my sleep ^^ . The gallery has too few walls as well.
I vectored and painted Erio out of this screen shot . This time I took a different approach to hair vectoring style and the outcome kinda exceeded my expectation ^^
Vectoring Erio almost took me a week with over 800 layers on PS CS5. The background was something that suddenly popped in my head.
it's self-created and no brush or stock have been used and is a mix of vectoring and painting done in PS .The amount of adjustments on the BG was quite enormous as well as a pain to do to make it look like what it is now ( My eyes and brain are bleeding).
One of the most awesome series in my book and Erio won over my heart really ^^ .

I love this sooo much! Her face, skin tones, lips---it all just looks amazingly detailed and clean. And the hair is really stunning too! I'm also really glad you've given her the faintest of outlines, it's small, but it makes such a difference in how finished it looks (I think so anyway ^^;). The shattered glass is a really great substitute for having something sparkly in the picture too, it just makes the whole scene more intensely dramatic <3

Its actually amazing how you applied this background to her. It goes along well with heir hair colour, skin and eyes and gives a overall brighter effect to the paper. Anyhow this makes the character stick out more than in the original and makes her look even cuter and cooler.

The shadowing on her and the detail on her hair is quite lovely. The shattering glass adds such a nice effect to the entire wall! I usually prefer darker walls, but this is simply so well-done that I don't mind it at all. The subtle text isn't distracting and fits. I like the intense blue colors you used for her eyes; however, the one thing that bugs me is the bigger reflection spec in them. I think the way you did the shadow makes it appear a little flat - it seems a bit detached from the eyes. I think if you made it a tad brighter would fix that.
But, I'm thinking that's just my nit-picking side taking over. Overall, this is a very beautiful wall! +fav

Finally!
I've been itching for a new desktop wallpaper and going through my older wall faves didn't really satisfy me. The first thing I liked about this wallpaper was the color combination and how it looks artistic with all the vector shapes. Her skin is a nice burnt peachy color which has color to it but the shadows stay a deep dark color. Instead of the hair being completely blue it's has a strong white highlight covering most of it. The desaturated pink along with blues and purples shade the darker parks of the hair. It makes a sweet fluffy combination that reminds me of cotton candy or snow cones flavored with sauce.
The black clothing and straps were a nice contrast change compared to the screenshot. It makes her dark black eyelashes fit in more because it has another element in the wall to compliment it. If you ended up going with the red and white in the screenshot without making the eyelashes lighter it would have seriously bugged me. The background is really attractive and it continues the theme of shapes and contrasting colors. It seems that the yellow coloring has some peach/pink behind it as it bleeds out. This looks really good with the saturated sky blue, turquoise, and blue. All the blue remind me of the default windows 7 background theme. The floating glass fragments are not overwhelming and fit right into the wall of shapes. This also gives the wall a bit of motion because it feels like they are slowly floating upwards along with the character's whipped hair.
I'd praise it all day but I need to make up something to critic about lol. I think you could have went a bit further with the hair by adding some darker shadows in it in between hair strands. It would continue the deep dark shadow theme you have going on with the skin and make the hair stand out a bit more.

O mai! A wall from you! It's very captivating! :D Really like how her skin is shaded to stand out against all that white and blue. Gives a nice fresh and somehow metallic feeling that is kinda hard for me to explain lol, but I like the style. And that shade of blue in her hair underparts reminds me of glaciers, especially with all the fragment stuff flying around. X3 Wish you shaded more of her hair like that (like where it curves inward on the upper right)! And given the wall is mostly white and that she's looking upwards, I'd say the whites of her eyes are shaded a bit too darkly. It's ok inside the irises, but the whites outside them seem to be overloaded in shadow. Actually, have you tried placing some more shadow inside the iris right under their main reflection spots? Since the light source is generally coming from above, this shadow would be more appropriate inside the iris (as it caves inwards) than in the whites of the eyes (which bulge outwards). :3 Whoosh, glad to see a new wall from you of course!

The first thing which caught my attention is her eyes - they done wonderfully and it seems you're gonna drown in them.. The next it's the hair and her itself - fantastic work with painting this beauty from the screenshot! I especially love how blue&white hues on hair are 'playing':3
As for the bg, at first I didn't get it was a glass) But then in full view - it's done just so vividly, with a sense of motion! I also like the contrasts between white and blue in the bg; and it's the first time I liked abstract bg! Brilliant job!

Indeed! a marvelous work on the hair, extending and flowing the hair like that is a great movement you add that enlarge the ermm, don't know how to say it maybe enlarge the camera, even I like the shadow/lighting on the original pic, you did your own style and is carefuly done, detailed and without a excess. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the join of the neck and face, jaw, exactly over the ear i think is too divided considering that point should be a notable join ear-neck also the shades there is too dark, considering the lighting, skin tone, not too much, but is a very dark zone. The ribbons, color, position, make inocence goes to a soft sexy, of course the sharp eyes is so beautiful. Even with a lighten BG she stand out so well, the fragments!!! oh.. that's curious i am searching to make an effect like that, great +_+ every little thing you changed, twisted, worth so well! and You make it yours.

Oh wow, what an awesome wallpaper. Why do I like it? Where to start...
Her eyes are amazing, the detail that you added to them is spectacular. I also love the way you changed her skin, it seems so much more realistic.
The background colors are soft, yet vibrant and the shattering glass is also very cool, however I think my favorite part is her hair. The color mixes that you used for it are breathtaking, soft and they compliment each other extremely well.
Overall, this wallpaper is really, really cool. :D Keep up the hard work! fav+

Erio!! She's cute as always! kinda rare to see Denpa walls in here and i'm glad you able to create a cute wall out of cute screencap thumbs-up, anyway i love how you vector + painted Erio especially her hair i love the soft pastel shadings + her eyes is much more stunning because of its color combinations. The shading and toning of her skin + her black color outfit is great as well. The background really fits the whole wall, i like how you change the original bg to a shattered glass background. IMHO, you lose the mystical quality of Erio in this paper. This paper is indeed clean and well-defined but the nuance of the whole scene has changed. Erio still looks cute - well, damn cute. Unfortunately, I don't feel the thrill I once felt when I saw this scene for the first time. Maybe it's the choice of those crystals scattering around her and on the background, maybe it's the too light of a colour that you chose. I don't really know. With all thing being said, this is still a pretty paper of Erio.
