This is my first wall that I post here, please feel free to add any comment or critique.
I made some modifications like the left eye and the left pigtail to the render, for the coloring I just played with the colors in photoshop to add a nice style.
*Resources
-Default brushes in photoshop.
-Burn, dodge and blur tools of photoshop.
Thanks for all the critique, comments and of course all the favs and downloads, it's greatly appreciated!

It's a tad too blurry. Enlarging an image to make a wallpaper is generally a bad idea since it makes thing really blurry and you can see artifacting. You should try to either vector the image, repaint it, or just find a bigger scan over all.

Well for a first wall this is alright but there are many things that could have been better. First of all the character is too blurry however if that was the intended effect, the background has to be different. The background does not match the blur of the character. The blur gives it a sort of art-ish texture perhaps like a canvas texture but the background just makes the character look plain blur. Also all that open unused space to the left could have been filled with some text or objects rather than the plain checkered background. The wall is overall minimalistic so there doesn't need to be complicated designs or text but a better use of space and a more fitting background. If the character being so blurred was not intended then you should get a higher quality vector. Overall a good effort made. Keep working at it and you'll soon be making awesome walls!!

Excellent. always thought that checkerboard pattern goes along well with the character. Nice job overall!

Love the revision! The ruins look great and it just really pops out like a scene from an anime. Nice angle too. One thing you could try for a slightly cleaner extraction (and since she's a dark character) is to use the 'burn' tool on the edges where there's still white from the scan.

Although this is a decent attempt...and you have a nice concept there, There are many areas in which you can improve on. I would suggest you to read other users' comments and follow their excellent suggestions. I won't say things that have already been said~ The only thing I would like to point out is shadow and lighting. This wallpaper completely lack any sense of light. I think if you work on that...then the wallpaper will feel more "natural" and "fitted" :)

i like this revision :) looks like she's photoshooting<3

i think you should just put her in a night scene that has hints of blue so it would all go really well but that's just my opinion

I like the second one. And by the way, the tiles in the second one doesn't make any sense.

The character appear to be too abrupt.Pillar in background is also this problem. The Style of character and sky is improper.

I like the concept of version 2 a tad more, so I’m glad you decided to add it. Sadly, I can’t say the same about its overall execution. It looks unpolished, more like a rough draft than a final version.
Everything looks rather flat and shallow. The columns and chain lack a good sense volume. For matter fact, the character in relation to the whole background is depthless (it’s hard to tell how far they are from each other, so there is a clear lack of sense of distance). Also, it’s kinda weird to see how the chain on the columns abruptly cuts off at the end of the second column.
The overall lighting could’ve been dealt somewhat better. Perhaps a nighttime scene would have worked better than a daytime scene. Finally, as already mentioned, extraction could definitely use some work all around, especially on the character, where you can easily see some white spots and a lot of jagged lines (just take a look at the hair and jacket for example).

The blending still needs some work. You REALLY need to clean the images - see all the box-like artifacting around the moon, clouds, and everything? That's really messy. Also I don't know how you extracted the pillars but I see signs of it being snipped away all over, like if you used an eraser tool or something. She looks as if she's a sticker being slapped onto a background. Look at the sword area especially.

I LOVE third one the most, the color of the background fit her's eyes perfectly

I like the second revision the best. However, I also enjoy revision 3 as well. I think if the pillars were broken and chained (as they were on revision three) on revision two it would be even better. Although I do understand that with revision two you were probably going for the complete tower theme, and I don't believe that a complete tower would have broken pillars.
Either way, bravo on all of these works.
