Ok, I don't get what so great about this. The stars are too dim and not sharp enough, the light effects aren't that impressive and the text is pretty plain. The glow around the girl just makes her look weird. It's just a pretty average nighttime wall, I'm just glad it doesn't have any planets.

Nice wallpaper indeed. What makes this wallpaper so unique is the awesome coloring. Of course the background (with the stars and "mountains" (which seem to be rather something like shimering aurora-clouds)) is quite nice as well.. but the coloring is more outstanding in my opinion.

Good work on the foreground as well - I like how the scan looks.

What I don't like too much is the way you blended the scan (and its glittering effects) with the background. I think you should have left it sharp, since if it is a more-less scenaric wallpaper (taking place on earth) - it is impossible for her to blend like that.

Other than that: definitly a great wallpaper - and worth a +fav for me! Thanks for sharing it :)

I think my favorite part of it, though, is the color blending. Well, dunno if it's color blending, but just. the scheme, 'yannow? It's beautiful. I like the simplicity of the wall but there are a couple of things. First I get this feeling that this wall is designed for widescreen and doesn't feel like it works well for regular screens because the character feels kind of "scrunched" in to the right. Second the sig sticks out like a sore thumb on a OS X destop. Use a more subtler color and typeface next time.

Beautiful in a ghostly manner, the midnight blues and black contrast with the white and the dead rose purple. I guess the whole thing really plays on the idea of the lonely ghost girl or maybe a lonely Miko... I really like the moonlight effect, especially around the girl, giving a truly ethereal effect. I would have probably liked a better contrast with a really dark crimson red or so... It's cliche... but meh, I like it... it makes it oh so... je ne sais pas

Very pretty wall. I love the way you pulled off the color and dark theme. The background is nice and simple... two things I tend to love and the particle effect is really nice. The only thing I don't really like about this wall is the stock's glow. If it extended a little more it waould look better in my oppinion but otherwise pretty good wall.
