squee I'm so happy this is finally done! =D This started out as a manga coloring I did a couple months back. After chatting on AP, I came to the realization that it was large enough for me to vector and make into a wallpaper, without completely re-coloring it. It took me these past few days to extend the original image and vector Nami. Then came the process of making the coloring from my original match up to my newly, not crappy lines, while extending it as well. I made a lot of changes from the original and my coloring. It's still not perfect, but after a certain point, enough is enough. I hope the sky looks okay, because this is my first time freehand painting anything. Don't be too hard on it if you can help it. (the links below are not the original sizes of the images)All the painting was done in GIMP, vectoring in Inkscape, and I ended up having to color the line art in PS 7.0.

The amount of work and effort you put into this original is amazing, this is such a fantastic wallpaper, you're a real pro already!

Nice you finished! The lines look much better now that they're vectored! Glad you took some of my advice about the shine on the tongue and the deepening of the sky. :3 Again I particularly like your color choices here - nice and vibrant and cheerful, and that yellow shine on the hair is a very welcome accent! I still feel like the nose and lower lip could use more highlighting, because that one midtone shade of skin used for the left side of the face makes it look rather flat compared to the shaded areas. The top of her forehead could use some shade right below where the bangs split, and subtle highlight a little further down to show her forehead is round. I think I see a subtle highlight on her cheek right below the closed eye, so I think the forehead could use some of this too. :3 Keep up the good work!

I like the colors. I’m not really fond of the fact that Nami is sticking her tongue out though. A nice clean smile (without the tongue) would have sufficed me. I also don’t like how Nami is dividing the scene into 2 halves. Slightly moving her down so her head doesn’t get cut off by the top would’ve made of a stronger composition, not to mention nicer looking. All in all, it’s a solid wallpaper and not bad for you first time painting.

Wow, this was very well done vector Nami. The colors are really nice, especially the lighting of the hair. Your work is great, a long way for me to learn to do this kind of vectors, hehe.
