omfg ITS SPIKE nice wallpaper i love the way ya made the board with spike on it and its just amazing, nicely cutting out and putting it in there i just freakin love it. the other stuff around it i find less pretty but still i like it :D *keeps staring at brown sepia spike section* yummyyyyhhh

The link to your other version of the wallpaper doesn't work (which is a shame since I seem to like it more judging from the thumbnail). Anyway, even the 'Spike-only' version is pretty awesome and it perfectly fits Cowboy Bebop's mood. I like it :)

One thing, there seems to be a few jpeg artifacts here and there, your wallpaper got either recompressed by our system, or maybe you compressed it too much yourself lol. But yeah they're a bit annoying since the wall would be clean and crips without them :>

i'm kinda torn on it. i don't like the ultra-hipness of the background image contrasting with the "old photo" look of spike in his billboard. i think i'd rather see it both one way or the other. and i personally like the one with electra better. it gives that foreground element that the wall needs :/ if you changed the billboard look, i'd like it a lot more. but the idea is definitly unique and original, so it gets a fav just for that. i've always loved arrows xD

Wow, this is soo cool. I love the contrast of themes you used. I think it looks very unique and pretty. The green designs and everything in the background of it are amazing. I love every bit of this wall. Its going in my favorites.

I like the one with electra in it much better, and I agree with kalico the whole textured bill board contrasting the ultra sharp-vector-style in the front isn't working out for me, although I disagree with her on the originality factor..its really not something that hasn't been done before, thats why I give you my fave for pure skill.

oh my gosh! :) the juxtaposition of the black & white/antique picture (reality) w/simple computer designed bkg w/anime spike is just truly awesome. normally it wouldn't be awesome, but you just managed to put them together perfectly. I love it to bits :)

I like the Spike only one because it reminds me of long roadtrips where I'd look out the window half-asleep and see about the same distortion. XD (Minus the colors...) Hafta fav. ^^

I really like this wallpaper.. very nice background.. nice use of incorporating textures.. good choices in color. I like the one with just spike more because like you said it's less cramped and also because I like the phrase you put on it. I like having wallpapers with nice phrases just because you see your wallpaper almost everyday it's good to have a phrase that you can relate to.

Oh Tate... the love with this wallpaper <3 Even if Omnidevil has worn those circles out, you made them work in this beautiful and stylish abstract piece. I love how you used a real photo and blended it in especially, you usually don't think something like that would work, but you pulled it off completely. The text is just perfect.. I can't think of one problem with this wallpaper.

As for the second one, Electra is too distracting personally for me, but if you submitted that I would be just as happy! Oh well.. nice work.

This one, seems a little stupid, as it is another stock to BG random wallpaper, i do not see a connection between the 2, and i think that that makes it a pointless wall paper, sorry if you get offended, but i will not add it as a ffav...sory :'(

Acually I love the one with Electra more. But I'll give a comment on both of it. ;D The Only Spike one: The wall is awsome great, stylish, moody, & very well done, alltough I agree with Kalico that the old photo doesn't match with the stylish moody bg. But with that moody fonts, maybe it became better^^ The Spike & Electra one: I like this one much better. Stylish, mody, awsome, facinating, & fully well done. Awsome vectoring! & I love tthe pocket you made at Electra. I love the texture , & also the vector brushes. The arrows are also great! But maybe the font on the Spike Photo must be a litle bit brighter.. Overall, Awsome job! I'll definately add this to my favs! Keep up the awsome work, Taeteee~! XD

I love this wallpaper since the ambiance is way unique, so different from usual wp! The Manhattan skyscraper silhoutte added mood that matched the character. It looks more like realistic movie than anime...and its great! +fav

Well I commented on both walls before I could get the second link to work...but now that I finally got to see both versions full-screen...I have to say I like the electra version better...the modern/sepia and composition balance just work better for me in that version Love the overall design of both versions though :)

Ah, very extraordinary and unusual wallpaper from Cowboy Bebop. It shows a lot of retro/techno style. It's very humorous and amusing. A great combination of a walk-in-the-city type of color. The part with the real image makes this wallpaper very special and very nique in its own way that no one can describe. Keep up this worka and effort, Tatekane!

Are it the images of an advertising signboard in the town that Spike reflects and is crowded?I was surprised because he merged in the sepia color scenery without the sense of incompatibility.

single element styles are great, but sometimes you just gotta say f*ck it and go for something new. Looks like that's what you did here. XD I like it, the one w/ Elektra is my fav yet the one without looks better on my desktop, which you stated. The wall definitely leads the eye to spike, and the environment you created for him in the gritty city is great. My only nitpick is the pocket thing on Elektra, it bothers my eyes. x.o but other than that, its cool. TRENDY, HIP, and GrrRRRrrRRrrRREAT! x)

I don't really think that bord will fit well.... the colors are making some contrast with eachother and it's not clear, clean and sharp as the vectors outside. the idea is great n_n buildings looking good, the billbord is in the way I expect :D. good job taters`!

Man, dooooood! this is kewlest wallz I ever seen, love that funky lime green and PaulW's brushes own my soul! The sephia like picture, on a bilboard, cool and funky good old spike on it, excellent text, excellent on all aspects. This is a wall worthy of recommendation definitely.

I like them both, though of course i'm gonna have to go with the one with Electra in it. Don't know about others, but I like my walls cramped with a lot of overdid things. That's just me. And I see what about mean about keepin' it plain and not too overdid, but with Electra in there, more color flows. And without her there, it just...doesn't have that "Aw." It's like something rich. It's like, you've got something good but when you see what you could have and you gain it, why would you wanna go back? And when I saw the Electra version, that's exactly what I thought. The one with just Spike seems blank, since you know what's supose to be there.

So now, I do love the colors and the contrast in the lines, and how that old look verses the new look is, with a town background setting. And of course the brushes are always a highlight.

Wow, I've seen some unique styles on the cowboy bebop wallpapers but this one is exceptional. It looks fantastic with the character and the old-fashioned city in the background. It looks like a poster, really awesome. Nice idea. A very old-paper style. Nice work!

I like the mix between old and hippy new style. I would like it better if you had leaned either more to the old or new, but still this works :D A very innovative move! I love green and I love Spike :D I like the other version more...but this version works better for the desktop for it allows for icons...and I'm big on not covering up the main cover boy/girl ^^; But this deserves a +fav!!! Wooow, interesting vector/not vector wallpaper. I personally like the one with Electra better because then it's not empty over there, but that's just me. The one without her is great too, never the less. I like how the background is a sillouet of buildings and Spike's picture looks as if it were a billboard. Anyways, an interesting style for a Bebop wallpaper. Keep up the good work!

Wow, what a great wall! I'm a huge fan of Cowboy Bebop and I can't miss this incredible piece of art. I really love the composition of the wall ;) I prefer the one with electra because I think that she fill great the foreground that in the first version was a bit empty. FAV for sure.

Fantastic! I think i like the one with only Spike on it best, because it dosn't look as crouded and the text from "Ask DNA" (great song!) look's better in color. Also the wall looks like your sitting in your car and looking i the sidemirror, adds a nice twist. On the wall with Electra the arrows towards Electra should be almost the same as Spikes arrows but enter the wall from the top of the wall instead, but that might just be because i like symmetry.

Nice. Good concept. It reminds me of those Old Navy shopping bags. Lol. Anyway, it would've been better if the colors were more tied together--the sepia kinda contrasts with the loudness of the green.

This wallpaper really has a funky concept. I really like the choice of brushes you used for it and how they aren't overkilled. I like how the arrows leading to the billboard but I don't really like the colour because it stands out a bit too much taking away the billboard a bit as the main focus. I just wonder whether it would be better without an old photo look and tried using a different colour. I think it looks better if it was a monochromatic image on the billboard. Anyhow, the green background definitely complements the billboard really nicely. Either way, it's a really nice composition that works really nice by the end.

Spike is awsome which should makes this wall the same but you really did his coolness justice with this wallpaper. arrows are my favorite shape and the bold colors of them tie down the whole picture. i like how you used an unaverage pictue of Spike and made it cool using your own kind of style and ignoring peoples suggestions that you didnt like, at least i think you did that.

Hmm... I see lots of FUSIONS XD yeah! that's the word! ... retro and techno modern style, also some stylish color blends and white borders. A combination you don't see everyday. Very unique. The colors are also very eye-catching. Dunno if the red arrow should be there, because it's kinda clashing with the rest, but the orange and greens are very nicely compositioned. The overall look is nice and very very cool.

Nice wallpaper, usually I don't use anything on my desktop with significant amounts of text on it. This however, is an exception. Albeit large, it is done well and compliments the overall urban "artsy" theme you were going for. Thanks again, I've been looking for a new Bebop wallpaper!

I absolutely love the background, the buildings, the arrows and Electra, but I'm not sure about the old photo effect with Spike in it.

I think the wall would be perfect if the arrows and the old picture part was removed, leaving only Electra and the background. Although I'm biased to pretty vectorized things.... ;)

Concept is great, but the image of Spike doesn't fit at all. I'm downloading this, and changing the picture myself for my own desktop. What a waste of talent really. Everything but the picture is pretty cool.

One that I think is my favorite. It has that classic look to spike, also the background is well put together. Colors match, simplicity in structure yet complex in detail. Nice use of the picture, it matchs the back ground.

I enjoy more the Spike-only wall because it seems less cramped than the Spike and Electra wall. But anyway wonderful wall and I like the whole "long road" feel it gives off. Great job and instant fav.

Even though the circles thing is a bit overdone, it works really well with Bebop images. The blend of red, orange, and green as a background color is unusual, yet works very well. Nice wall and great job keeping with the "Bebop style."

I really can't describe this very well. One one hand it had a postmodern feel, but the mono-tone on the otherhand takes this back to the 20's ragtime/bebop era. Having what looks like the the Manhattan skyline adds to that too.

I like the version with Electra far better than the version with spike only, but both are very well done and looks like there was a lot of effor placed into it. My only complaint, albeit small one, is the green in the background. It seems much too loud and out of place compared with the focus content which is either black and white contrast & the aged photo effect. The metropolitan silhouette is creative, in my opinion.

huh, there is only one anime that can always cheer me up... and guesswhat... so after i watched it, countless times, i thought, i knew it, this world, the scenes, the heroes... i'm proud of you. it seems, that, you knew what you wanted to express, not just mixing pictures... the contrast is at first time anoying, but at least it makes you think... keep on composing!

This is so cool! I like how the image of Spike looks like a billboard in the big city. I also like your brush choices and the little rays in the background; nothing's overused and it doesn't look cluttered. Very cool! ^o^b

I really like how avant guarde this paper is. I think what strikes me most is your color choices... sure they may be a bit dingey in places, and unexpected (lime green? I would have never though of that) - but that doesn't deteriorate from the paper at all, infact it adds to it. The lime green contrasting with the coffee color of the billboard helps to draw your eye to the main focus (spike & the text). I also admire the visual/directional cues you employ (the way the billboard is presented as a trapezoid, with the background buildings on a seemingly endless skyline), and it's completely natural now that there's not another main visual (electra) for the lyrics and spike to compete with. I've always hated forced perspective, but this is seemingly so natural that the eyes just gravitate toward the right lower-middle. Other than some possible clean up (as other people have mentioned) there isn't anything I would even think of improving on. This one's going to be on my desktop for a long time, well done. +Fav ^_^

I really like both versions of this wall, I think the lyrics from "Ask DNA" work well with the theme with this (I always loved that song ;)). Wonderful array of colors and style, it really fits the look of Cowboy Bebop and I like the creativity that went into making the image on a display. It does remind me of, like one member already stated, taking long road trips. Very cool; great job and adding this one to my favorites.

Both are nice, but I like more the one with Elektra. The one with Spike alone reminds me more of what you might see in a DVD menu, before your movie starts. I love this wall! Maybe it's because I'm from New York or something, but I like the modern city in the background with the antique-looking billboard. I think the version with the extra figure is a bit cramped, but still cool. This shows a really good concept and use of an autumnal color scheme.

I fell more for the one with both electra, the text looks bether in the main post, and it is less cramped... still i'd go for the electra-wallpaper

This wallpaper is absolutely amazing. The simply vectored background and the very well thought out design works out very well to make one unique design. I really like the city theme and the entire concept of putting Spike in the billboard sign. It makes for an interesting idea and has a very nice feel on the desktop. I find that there's plenty of icon space here, so that's another very well thought out part of a very powerful wallpaper. The urban design of the entire piece also has a very complimentary feel to it. This definetly gets both thumbs way up.

Wow, this can be one heck of a successful billboard if you advertise it to companies XD I love the the billboard the most, and Spike's cool manliness. I love those shapes in the sky as well, perfect for a REAL ad if you ever advertise it. Not much to say, it's just great.

I really like this wallpaper.. very nice background.. nice use of incorporating textures.. good choices in color. I like the one with just spike more because like you said it's less cramped and also because I like the phrase you put on it. I like having wallpapers with nice phrases just because you see your wallpaper almost everyday it's good to have a phrase that you can relate to.

This is a pretty sweet paper, I especially like the contrast of bright colors on the perimeter and sepia tones inside the box. The bright green border and city-scape theme is a bit too modern for Spike but somehow you do manage to make the two vibes blend. I'm anxious to see other walls soon. You have a lot of potential!!

I think I like this one more than the one with Electra somehow. This version almost feels like a publicity panel you'd find in a magazine. Love the green; it clashes (in a good way) with the orange and sepia tones from the picture and Spike. The more I look at it the more I like it actually! Good work!

I like how you mixed some modern vector art with what looks like an old style of photography where Spike resides with that Sepia-type overlay on that city. I like how you blended two different eras together. Very well done!

Spike is a awesome character. Cowboy Bebop is my favorite anime.

the bg and spike's pic fits each other... but i have to admit that the bg gives an energetic feel, its like retro or something.... and the sepia effect on spike's pic somehow clashes with it since the sepia gives a nostalgic feel... its somehow confusing to know what the atmosphere really is... if you colored the main pic... i guess it would be a perfect match to the bg

but i like the idea of contrasting the nostalgic spike pic and the lively bg... its sounds original ... and still, very good job :))
