well I had wanted to make a halloweenish looking wall since when Halloween actually comes I won't be able to make a wall for it...
This took me a lot longer then I'm used to spending on a wall...about 5 hours total since I redrew the kitty girl ( I guess you call it a vector? I'm not submitting it though since I was too lazy to shade her fully, I used SAI to redraw her) and slightly changed her coloring (she was a bit pale from the original scan )
Originally I was going to have her larger in the wall and a bit more stylized, but I actually found my old ipod from 3 years ago and the music made me change my design to something grungier and burnt

There are two versions. The first is the original one i did, but i found it too light for my taste, so I made a darker one for me to use.

This is your best work yet, though there could be a lot of fixes to this piece. The light white faded boxes around the girl makes me think that it wasn't fully blended and hidden rather than being something done on purpose. It's basically you not fully blending the scan into a black background. This would be a million times better if we didn't see gray fading boxes and outlines everywhere. It just looks messy and incomplete. Also wish there were slightly less shadowing done to her stomach area. Otherwise, nice colors and effects.

ooh! lol i see what you're talking about. I was actually thinking of like star trek type light beam thingy/evil spirit below, but if you aren't thinking about it, it looks too geometric

I like the Halloween-y feel the overall wall has. However, the girl's skin seems...I'm not sure how to describe it, really. It just seems weird compared to her dress. Maybe it's just that her dress picked up more texture than her skin did, but it doesn't really do it for me. I find the reflection really out of place. It looks like she's meant to be over water, but water never gives a sharp reflection like that. Plus, the fact that the reflection is a negative to the girl is distracting. My eye is pulled toward the white lace at the bottom of the wall, rather than enjoying the wall as a whole. Overall, it's a nice wall, but not one I'd use personally.

The background is nicely done, although can't really see much of the detail in the wall. But I love the lighting and how it focuses the character rather than the surroundings. I especially like the reflection of the character idea, very appealing. Great work!

Ok, this is cool. The Reflected surface on the ground is great and the halo effect on the ground makes her look like she's come out of a portal.
