Hi. Finally finished another Dogs wall <3
Again, like my previous wall, the colour theme is simple and dull-ish. (I really think that these kind's of colours fit Miwa's style). Although, looking at the wall at a whole, Badou and Nill are very colourful XD

Wow, we don't get many dual screen walls, especially ones that have such an obvious amount of time and effort invested in them (I don't even want to think about how long it took to make all of those lines which, by the way, look fantastic). You even spent time adding tags for this! You could actually make another perfectly good wallpaper by cropping it and using the left side: that is pretty awesome. The texture fits so well that I think it would look strange -without- it. I agree with you that the muted colors fit Dogs' style, and you're right that the colors seem more saturated on Badou and Nill, but it doesn't bother me. Above all, my favorite thing about this are the shadows, which I did not realize that you drew yourself until I looked at the original scan. I really thought they were already part of the scan and you just built on them, but you had to create them entirely, which really impresses me. I don't have anything to negative to say, I really love this, great work man.
..but I'll ask after all, how long did this take?

Thanks for the lovely comment ^^ haha... I must say I'm not sure how long this took me. However, I did start this since my last wallpaper about 1month 4weeks ago. But because of school and exams I was only able to work on it little by little until my holidays, which started last friday. So...approx. 1month or so. XD

Oh my eyes. They weep with joy. Fantastic vector work. I'm not easily impressed by vectors, due to the lack of creativity, but the amount of work put into the details and subtle colors here and there... Wonderful. ^__^ AP's front page needs more of these...

Oh yeah, you finally uploaded this here! Mmmm really like how you colored that essentially two-toned scan by adding all your shadows and yummy gradients - you've really brought it to life. Definitely not "dull" in my eyes - it has splashes of saturation right where it counts. :3 And pretty much every character has a different color from the spectrum as well, keeping it fresh and interesting! The time and effort put into this is apparent and vectoring all those little details is impressive. The final result really paid off! And yay, just in time for me to decorate my new computer~~~ Gonna have fun dling all those alternatives to see which looks best. *___* Looking forward to your next works! :D (was also waiting for one of the regular community ap wallers to finally make something and spice up the front page again!)
After dling alternatives: I wish the texture in the ones with the black bars didn't have such an obvious vertical banding effect! >__< A more uniform texture would be better.

The attention to the details is just mind-blowing. I. AM. ABSOLUTELY. SPEECHLESS. TBH. To take on a scan like that, your hard work really pays off! I think I'd go crazy if I ever took on a scan like that----AND a dual screen for that matter. (SIGH) I just can't stop staring at it right now. My eyes are drooling----if that's ever a statement. LOL. The textures that you used as well blends beautifully with the rich, vibrant yet subtle colors! The gradient work is PURE LOVE. Bringing colors to a monochrome scan is hard job! And yet, you've done it so perfectly that it makes me wanna eat it. (OwO) It's really nice to see wallpapers like this! It's very, very refreshing for the eyes----and I never get tired by looking at it.
What I like about it is that even though you brought the scan to life, it still has that manga feel to it. You've kept its original state yet still making it your own.
This is SO GOOD and SO DELICIOUS that I'm going to download ALL the revisions for me to feast upon. LOL. (OwO)
And YES----I agree with @Red-Eclipse. AP's front page really needs more of these yummy wallpapers. Wallpapers that are given a considerable amount of thought and time----and are crafted to perfection.

This is absolutely gorgeous. I have actually no idea where to begin. Considering what you started out with, beautiful coloring. Nice and vibrant with the little details and colors jumping out on you. Some really smooth transitions in there.

I think it's very beautiful. One of my favourites of Dogs for sure. It's so simple yet so sophisticated at the same time. You can tell that's pro colouring skills and fantastic job with that. Keep it up! : D Can't wait to see more wallpapers from you : )

Great wallpaper. Very attractive on first looks and very impressive after downloading it.
You did a great job on vectoring it. It is clean, sharp and well executed. So many lines to draw, so many shapes to create, good job on finishing it. It is forgiven that some parts look a little simple (just as in the scan) because there is so much going on the wallpaper. I love how you added your own touch to the shades and how you created the gradients! That is one of the hardest parts to do in my opinion.
The colours are nice and smooth. Somehow the bright colours still blend into the wall very well. Also the very light texture you used gives a extra nice feel.
There is only one thing I don't like (only clear to see on Rev5 and not present on some other Revs), is the eyes of Luki and Noki look weird. Maybe because their eye white is skin-coloured instead of white. I only noticed it because they are one of my favourite characters in the Dogs manga.
Still the overall work is amazing and excellent executed. Well done. Keep it up!

I'm saving up for a dual (eventually tripple) monitor setup so I'll save this wall for when the time comes :D

Awesome! You've taken on so many characters in this too, and it's not just faraway shots, which tend to be less detailed. Love the way you've colored it, it's absolutely like Miwa Shirow's style, and with that artist's unique color sense, I'm sure that was no easy task to replicate. And dual screen! It's amazing that you can work so big and keep it all straight <3 Excellent wallpaper, and a well deserved featured! :)

Wow such a great wallpaper and it is more interesting since it is a vector work....very clean and sharp work and love the colouring scheme that you used really reflect Miwa's style of work. Love the variety that you created, i can't decide which version to use for my desktop they are all beautiful.
it is not easy to create such a wall from a simple scan, you hard work really paid off with the creation of this excellent work :)

When i saw this in MT, it got me WOWed! This wall is just so awesome, i like how you use the scan and make it into a wallpaper. The coloring is just so good, not so bright and not so sharp just a shades of soft colors and it was like Miwa Shirow's coloring style. What's best about this wall is that it is a dual screen! it really hard to make a wallpaper that big resolution but you really pulled it of! And again awesome job! absolutely + fav! ^^,

i really like your simple style, and it works pretty well with this scan since it's mostly based on lineart ;D x.x must been lots of working lining that.
I actually thought the scan was coloured before I viewed it, nice work xD
Though its regrettable the characters in the right hand lacks the detail and life the ones on the left has. It would've been nice if there was more of a tonal difference and more gradients and stronger contrast between light and dark there.
The job on the first 3 characters are really excellent I love the bright colours and variation on them. but the right side seems kind of dull compared to that, and the skin tones are pretty similar O: take the black hair girl for example, her skin tone really stood out to me x.x I find it too pale, dashes of a more red colour might'v helped.
and OMG grats on the highlight xDDD didn't notice that at first

WOW! Breath-taking work! I'd never thought I like such style, but your piece has just amazed me to love it! Seeing how LOT work with all those lines you made - they're so neat! I also admire the way you've colored - it looks awesome, kind of bright but yet dull which makes nice hues and light crosses! This is stunning! I really can't describe it any better than that. The bold contrast in colors is amazing and depicts the characters very well. Some could even say that all the different patterns might be too busy looking, but this isn't your typical anime so a typical wallpaper shouldn't be showcased, especially with all these characters. Fantastic job!

I can only imagine if this were not dull. It looks awesome, realistic, they all belong right where they are. The detail you put into the windows, walls & columns, the vectors all fit into place so well as mentioned earlier. Even the "Dogs" text suits it really well. Excellent job, now I'm at a lost for words.

STAFF SURE KNOWS HOW TO PICK EM. i really love this one. not only for the loveable naoto but the ensemble cast really fits. i wish i has some creative critisum for this but it looks like you nailed it. speaking of nailing it id sure love to..umm never mind. i really find inspiration in mangas like these. the cool fun ride mangas that dont make me tear up from the thought of i could never do that(berserk), but just a good time. dogs sure has questions i want answered and question myself but regardless i really enjoy this piece of work here. i would love to be the writer with an artist of talent like this, i think of myself as a brain in a jar...but anyways keep up the good work. lovely job...wait I DO HAVE CREATIVE CRITICISM AFTER ALL...NAOTO LOSE THE CLOTHES..haha just kidding..shes not some cheap slut..as a fictional character i really have respect for her..but as you a real character who can read this i give very little respect, draw yourself then we'll talk, haha. k goofy time over.
