This is a wallpaper of one of my favorite characters in Soul Eater, Dr. Stein. He is with his partner spirit-kun, maka's father, in a small room with the evil witch named Medusa. I made two versions, and probably making a third version with a few tweaks and an added face to the actual scythe which will be spirit-kun like they do on the show some times. I'm glad everyone likes this wall a lot and I'm glad that I'm doing well as an artist.

Love the checkerboard pattern floor, very nice indeed! Keep up the good work and definitely try your hand at extracting too, it'll teach you a lot about photoshop while you learn it.

It's nice to see a Soul Eater wallpaper in a while and Dr. Stein is one of my favorite Characters, but I won't go easy on you because of these facts! The background looks really good, nice reflecting effects on the chessboard and Medusa's Vectors. I must bitterly add that I find these too overused in wallpapers, there are way too many wallpapers on Animepaper.net with chessboards. But yours at least is red and it's really a well-chosen red, dark and blood-like, creates a sinister and gloomy atmosphere which fits to Stein. On the other hand, Stein doesn't seem to harmonise with the background, he just seems to be cut in, I think he needs in some way more interaction with the background, I'm really sorry that I have no concrete idea how you could do that right now! =( I do remember Death Scyth or Spirit-kun to be more jet-black, looking like a really badass, awe-inspiring scyth. I know that if you would make him jet-black, you need right illumination to prevent the scyth to melt with the dark background. Maybe a little bit of this sinister red in the reflections of the scyth, though that could also work backwards and melt the scyth even more with the background. However, I really like the idea of a jet-black Death Scyth with "sinister red" lighting on it but it's your wall after all. xD And yeah, you should take a better/darker grey for the smoke of the cigarette. Now it looks like the smoke would almost melt with the lab coat , also darker shadows could help with it, smoke has always a cool effect in my eyes if it's well done! (SMOKING IS STILL A BAD HABIT!) You could also kind of make the "room" look closer to support the impact of the title of the wall "Claustrophobia", a bended or distorted room, it would also reflect the INSANITY of Stein in some way. And I see you chose to light the middle of the wallpaper, good idea! You could make the contrast a bit stronger, on the first view I had problems to realise that you illuminated the middle of the wall in a diagonal way. I think a stronger contrast, making the middle brighter and the outskirts darker would also support the impact of the title. I hope my comment was helpful to you! Keep it up!

Thank you very much. I tried this wallpaper for a first time and I've been looking at it in some way to make it better. I'll consider all of your ideas to help make this a better wall for people. I was also thinking of trying to make the scythe a bit shiny due to the opening of the room and due to the light the red of the room should somehow impact the color of the scythe. I never thought about bending the walls in a way to make it work with the title thanks for the suggestion. I need to work on my lighting a bit more and using true blacks and not "melting" any colors with anything behind it. Thank you again and I'll be sure to make another version of this wall to improve my skills.

I have now uploaded a new version of this wall. I added a bit of more red to some parts and works on the lighting. I also fixed some colors being faded into the background or adjacent colors when they weren't supposed to. Added a bit of warp to the walls and floor, but I didn't over due it since I'm afraid of messing up the actual wall. Enjoy. :D

I'm glad you kept up both colour versions of this wallpaper, as they are different enough to both warrant posting. This is very nice and this image in particular definitely needed to be used.

I have now uploaded a new version of this wall. I added a bit of more red to some parts and works on the lighting.I must bitterly add that I find these too overused in wallpapers, there are way too many wallpapers on Animepaper.In Souleater,i like him.

I know that my friend in 8th grade drew this and later made a change to it. This looks exactly like it before the change. He says that there's this girl who keeps stealing his art and posting it on the internet with a different signature.** You wouldn't happen to know how and where you got this, would you? ** His feelings are crushed from it and it's really made his life as miserable as it might could be (he's going through a lot of other stuff too).

Um I didn't steal this wallpaper at all, I have the psd and the full layering process on my computer. The only thing that I didn't make myself was the render which I got from an artist here on animepaper.
