Hello. This is my fourth one, allright. This time it's Alpha-san from Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou . It's a peaceful and calm manga which is very very good in my opinion. Just as before, this one was made using CorelDraw, and unlike my previous wallpaper, the time taken for this is relatively short, about ten hours.
Short doesn't mean that it's easy. I made each lines on the character as an object to improve details. The grass is as it is in the scan, I know, it looks bad... The hardest is to make the foggy effect around the character which was done in PhotoShop.
I was just testing out the new function with the new Corel, so I'm not expecting good review from this one, but I hope you enjoy it. _ Usage: CorelDraw 85% - PhotoShop 15%_
P.S. Read the Manga if you haven't. It's good.

Pretty cool. The ocean..? between the mountains and the bushes are a bit unclear of what it should be. You could add something like a clear horizon or whatnot. Otherwise, I'm lovin' it. xD

its a great vector and it shows you have more than amature skills but I still dont like the overall piece. :p

Its a pretty cool and different wall. I thought it was One Piece at first x_x I dont know why tho..But yeah back to the wall. I think everything would be better as all one solid like. Its very nice vectoring though. Nice job on it.

This is really nice. The colors and smooth vector job makes for a pleasant and calm wallpaper. I'm one of those folk who like my walls very clean and subdued and I find that this fits me well. I like it very much, thank you for sharing.

i think you did a great job! :) i really like the colors and the different patterns. the clean lines really caught my eye, i wish i could vector like that. i'm curious to know how you got the sky to look that way, looks amazing. and is that just a gradient on the mountains? i think this piece looks neat, very original in my opinion :P

The wall is beautiful. But the line that differs between mountain and lake/ocean/watery space is not so clear. Is there a line anyway? The other scene is wonderful. likes it!

The grass is crap, everything else look neat. I think just erase it and put some colour into it like what you did for the sea.

This is a little different kind of wallpaper, nice to see it! I think you have the background very well, it goes so well with the scan. The grass and horizon line are a little strange, though. Good work still;)

I'm a big fan of Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou. My livejournal is called Seattle Kaidashi Kikou (since all I ever seem to do is talk about the stuff I buy.) I think this is a use of the basic image. The bright yet soft colors suit the world of YKK. And the idea of Alpha contemplating the mysteriously misshapen Mt. Fuji is a good one. I like it.

The colors are so nice: light and bright. Nice view and perspective. Great job vectoring. The trees and the mountain don't look right though colorwise. But I guess that's your style. Thanks for sharing

Yes, finally, a decent Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou wallpaper! I love how simple and sweet this wallpaper is - it really matches the artwork style of the manga.

Very nice, definitely the best YKK wallpaper I've seen thus far. Thank you.
