Naruto Please Bring Him Back

So...where's the rest of it? That's not a simple background. That's not a background at all. A simple background would be a hint of a pattern and text not aligned on the bottom of the wall where part of it will end up cut off by a taskbar. A simple background would be more drastic gradient, turning that circle into a sphere, and a few brushes. This is just lazy. You spent a little time on your vector and were in such a rush to get a wall accepted that you didn't put any thought into the background. Based on the vector, I'm pretty sure you can do at least a little bit better for a background than this.

I dont always comment, but this caught my eye. My first question is, are you serious? Did you qualify this as an finished wallpaper? Aside from the really unoriginal theme it is really poorly made. I wasnt even sure if that was the moon or an balloon. I have some usefull tips for you to edit this wallpaper:

• use a crater/moon texture
• adjust sakuras colour to a lite more blue, shes outside in the night, its impossible to have such bright colors at night.
• add stars
• do something crazy, like a light star on sakuras chin (subtle). Like she is crying. It makes the wallpaper much more intense.
• use another font. Something that goes along with the style, something decorative (old style).
• think of the taskbar of windows. These are just my points, think and be creative. Dont just submit something if you're not proud of it! Hope you can do something with this!

For a first wall, this attempt isn't bad...it is much better than some of my first few attempts. Let's start with the positives of this wall-->the vector. For a first time, this is not a bad vector at all.Most of the lines look clear and not too jagged (minus the line/curve on Sakura's right kneecap), and the shadows and colors look nice. Good job with a solid vector. As for the areas that need improvement, I would agree with the comments that address the background, as right now there is nothing special or fancy going on. I like the concept of her sitting outside against a large mooned-sky. Try googling tutorials on how to photoshop moons (or whatever program you use), and then google tutorials on how to create a starry night sky. Also, since Sakura is kneeling, you will have to make/address some sort of ground for her to be sitting on so she doesn't appear to be floating in air! Also, I would maybe change up the font you used, but this is more stylistic and the decision can be made after you have re-done the background. You may also want to reconsider the text placement as part of the text will most likely be covered up by the desktop banner at the bottom of most computers/laptops/operating systems.

Hey nice work! I've read my way through all (or at least most) of the comments and I must say you did well to improve from that simple .. circle-simple background to something that actually makes sense and starts to blend with the foreground! Good job on this!

I think the wallpaper is quite good as it is now, but of course I do have suggestions on how you still could improve this wall. One way would be to not have such a straight horizontal line. I'd rather have this line a bit curved since if you have a look at such grass it most likely will not be even at all, but curved and bumpy and not smooth. Also the blades of grass are spread far too regular on the surface - I'd try to have the sizes a bit different as well as position them irregularly.

To improve it even further you could fill that grass-space with something, that wouldn't distract much attention, yet offer the viewer some variety in this grey-dark themed wallpaper. Actually you might just restrain to a shape as you already did - e.g. some smaller rocks or other relics of Sasuke lying around. There are lots of possibilities to make this wallpaper more interesting.

However: I can understand that it's your work and that all improvements demand time. So the stuff I mentioned are just suggestions that you might pick up, but don't have to. Your revision is fine as it is. Good work - especially since it's your first wallpaper! Cheers and hope to see more stuff from you, where you'll get even better especially at backgrounds! :)
