This one took a while, I had to wait for the semester to end to really get working on it. This wallpaper takes most of its elements from the last two episodes of the series. Homura came from episode twelve, the buildings were imitated from buildings at various points throughout both episodes, the sky is from the epilogue and Walpurgis is based on her Witch Card. Can anyone guess what the runes on the bottom say?
Also how do you make it so the 16:9 version is displayed as the thumbnail?

sometimes we dont even need the 3rd guy; we just call someone to help out and carry the equipment for us

It's always good to see more Madoka walls! I think Madoka is under-represented on AP as far as walls go. Good job on this wall. The composition is quite good. It's got a good sense of movement and has a dark feeling, kinda like despair. The colors look kinda dull. It's good to have dull colors in parts, but then it's good to have some contrast with some bright colors. The shadows look good but I think it would be a much cooler effect if more of the image was shadowed and the magic seal behind the witch shined a beam of light down on Homura and she had more color saturation. Well, that's just my opinion anyways. I just think it looks a bit dull overall right now and the sky color, while it looks good by itself and like the series, clashes with the green and pink of the witches magic seal. The other thing is the wall doesn't look very sharp. It's hard to find a outline that doesn't look like a blur has been applied to it. With the movement, Homura is standing still, so she at least should look sharp. Well, I hope I don't sound too critical, I do like the wall. It's just that I don't wanna see a good wall, I wanna see a GREAT wall because I really love Puella Magi Madoka Magica! Keep up the good work!

This is good but not my favorite. I haven't watched the anime so I don't quite understand the muted colour. If it's on purpose then I understand but if it's not then the wall is in desperate need of additional colour. The problem with the focal point of the wall which is on the girl in the foreground, followed by the girl in the background is that around them there's nothing else. There's some muted coloured buildings and a simple background. The overall concept is good though, I like what is going on but to me it just feels too one-dimensional. Maybe if some land was thrown in to give some direction in terms of atmosphere it could work a lot better. That would be my recommendation.

i've just completed rewatching it. the last 3 ep made me shed manly tears. just when i thought there was no more madoka walls on AP... this appeared.
i must say... the colour is almost true to the actual footage itself and the sky is well done. im quite alright with the blured lines though. ak though the lower part of the sky could do w more clouds or some vestiges fo the clouds....

The scene is epic. I can picture what Madoka is thinking right now, "I can take you on", she says. The art is somewhat-somewhat. I'm gonna add this to my favorite because of the sheer epicness not because of what you did there. Still a nice wally. :)

I really loved the whole story of this anime. The ending was so sad that it almost made me cry... Homura's situation on repeating time is just something that I would do and I can't help but feel sorry for Homura seeing Madoka die every time they battle the Walpurgis. This anime became my favorite when I found out that Homura's from the future and had kept repeating everything from the start. No wonder she looked bored.

Looks like something outta an end of the world scenario, chaotic indeed. the buildings floating in the air like that gives it an ominous feeling. very scary situation.

aah yes, homuras final stand, probably the most epic event since minas tirith... the buildings could look better, especially the one in the bottom left corner, but probably even more i miss any hint of homuras vast accumulated arsenal showing that despite facing an overwhelming foe, she is a one girl army and not hopeless ...and as acidtreat101 said, colors could be more vibrant

This is one of the best fan based images for Madoka I've seen. You get a good sense of just how threatening Walpurgis is.

The composition is good, I liked the central figure, the buildings flying (I love Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica ).I don't like: the building give the impression of badly drawn (the windows), the perspective of the Witch, the bottom of wallpapwer gives feeling of emptiness,
