This character comes from the 2nd season of "Gunbuster" (the first one was really awful XD) and the "Gunbuster vs Diebuster" movie. I remember Nostromo made a great AMV - titled "Auriga" - 3 years ago, using this anime as a guideline.

Im assuming the symbol behind her is a fire icon? Hard to tell... I do love Diebuster and I love how someone has taken the opportunity to use this awesome vector though I feel maybe the background selection wasn't the best...Perhaps if you were going for an abstract look then yeah, it works. Also, there is so much orange - red colour I think it hurts the overall attractiveness of the wallpaper...

I love the warm and wild feeling to this wall. She looks like she's ready to kick some butt and the background makes it feel like she's really capable of it. I can just see one of those wild, FLCL style fights coming up with lots of flips and exaggerated motion lines.
