I was wondering why you had the words Chaos Kaizer written on the wallpaper and why it reminded me so much of that name... Then I went through her gallery and found this: http://www.animepaper.net/art/34100/green-hill-state-hospital

So yea, your character still looks too much like an anime character compared to the photo realistic background it's set on. To make the walls look more anime-ish, remove some of the details. (Smart Blur) To make the character look more realistic, fix its shadows to match the BG. L's face is almost completely 1.5 shades of color. A real person's face would be more.

The backdrop is very well suited for the mystery and suspense of Death Note but L doesn't look too clear. It's almost like he was forcefully superimposed into the backdrop. Nevertheless, good effort and good try!

This is really great but the sight of Ryuk is really disturbing. I mean, what is he doing there? Observing L? Anyway,I like the way the L sits, makes him look mental... If you know what I mean :) Mentally INTELLIGENT!!! I LOVE DEATH NOTE!!! By the way, why is L sitting in a place like that?

Not bad, but the bg's quality is very low. The idea works, but for L to just sit there with no chair is pretty odd. An image on L in a chair would fit better.

I love L hes my favorite char from death note,its nice how you created the mistery climate for him gj! :)

I really like the concept, but I would like to see a black&white version of this wall. I think that could really help blend the character in more, and create a nice dark atmosphere, too. Maybe leaving Ryuk's eyes red, and the apple? And you need to sharpen,and clean L a little more. Overall, it's a good job. =]

Very realistic. The room has a dark atmosphere that fits with the shinigami. L looks spectacular. Very good!
