About a month ago I got the new CD from "The Saturdays". The name of the CD is "On Your radar" (there you got the title) and it's really catchy and fun... resuming, I got addicted to it. as I was hearing it for the 100th time or so, I noticed I really liked the cover concept. I remembered seeing some images from each sailor with naked shoulders, and I decided to make a mashup with it, something like "the sailors meet the saturdays". I made the lettering so it would be similar to the one in the cover, and -the major pain - I vectored all of them, as all the imagens were in really bad quality (too grainy) and cropped. It got exactly as I wanted it, so I'm pretty much satisfied with it. Hope you guys like it, and fave it ;)

I'm thinking about adding some lighting effects on them, so maybe they will look a little bit different. if I like the result I'll post a second revision. Glad you liked it!

I don't want to seem presumptuous, but, while I like the idea of the wall and it looks like a good start, the lettering (which I understand is part of the concept) is a bit distracting/difficult to read and the scouts could take up more space on the wall, for instance, if this were my wall on my current computer it would cut them off from about the chin down I think and it leaves a lot of open space. I feel like they should be a bit more of the focus. I would also put Sareena/Usagi in the center if you have any way of doing that.

I hope I didn't sound too critical! I don't mean any of this really negatively and it's not like I make any walls, but just as a viewer that's my 2 cents.

No, You don't sound prsumptuous, I don't mind constructive criticism (which you just gave me). About them taking mor space in the wall, I originally tried to use their images in a larger scale, but the wallpaper just got too "crowded", as they all have lots of hair volume (Loreal, they're worth it xD). I didn't put Usagi in the center for 2 main reasons. First I didn't wanted it to be that obvious, giving er the focus as usual, as they're all in the same "level" in the wallpaper. secondly, Her odangos (or hairbuns, I guess) occupied a lot of space on the left, which would cover the face of one of the girls.

I really appreciate your comment and the ideas, but about the lettering I won't do any alteration. about the girls... well I may try to see if I can fit them in a different scale or something.

This is a really neat idea, but the lettering is...off somehow. It looks like the RS at the end is smaller than the O, making the whole thing look slanted. The AI is also bigger than the L. Looking at your source, all of those letters are the same height, and it looks a lot better. The last S also looks slightly tipped backwards.

I think that if you would fix your typography, it would look pretty awesome.

OMG! I totally forgot to fix thaaat xDDD thanks! The "logo" is made from 2 different fonts so the same fontsize makes bigger letters in some cases (like the "A" the "I" and the "O". I told myself I would fix that in the end but then I forgot xD. I will fix it ASAP.thanks for noticing xD
