Nice work 200. I like the orientation of the girl better in you version. Nicely done overall.

yay !thank you sooo much acid ^^

I agree with @acidtreat101 the characters orientation is much better here, the vertical pose was just awkward. Also the addition of the red is a very nice touch. I think the original pink really washed her out.
I really appreciate & admire those who go after an original vision of a character. Everything has infinite possibilities but it takes a truly creative person to not only recognize them but to execute them they way they initially envisioned them.
+Fav for seing the infinite possibilities!

Thx very much Major, the idea came to my mind when i was rotating the picture in Photo Viewer.

First of all i have to say that i love how you took the scan and made it your own and the concept of the scan look somewhat different! So i like it more for that!
Now the first thing that bothers me about this D: Is that the headphone wire isnt straight, or equal thick ness. Using a stroked path out have solved that! D: And a little more dark shadowing in the eyes, they look a little to much like flat colour. The skin is beautifully done, i love the colour and the way you've done it! Her arm inpaticular. Her hair is also very well done and the nice red/pink/samon colours you've used are lush!! :D

I'm sorry to be the one to dissent, but I don't understand the praise this is getting. There are a lot of things wrong with this.
The lines are really bad: first of all you used strokes. Every line is blunt and they are all the same thickness, except one on the leg which looks extremely out of place. The lines just seem to drop in opacity at randomly places like you took the eraser to it. At other points, the lines just disappear out of nowhere without coming to a tapered point, such as her left thigh. A lot of lines are aliased, and some are really blurry (on the red part of the skirt). The lines look too light and dull compared to how saturated the colors are. The lines overall look too thin considering how big the image is.
The colors are broken on the socks, you can clearly a white line on them where there shouldn't be. There are also color leaks on the black stripes on the socks. Every shadow is really blurry, you can't see the edges of shadows anywhere like you can on the original scan. Artifacts can bee seen literally on every part of the image, especially on the red part of the skirt. They are even noticeable even on the lowest resolution (which still doesn't hide most of the other problems). Her left arm looks very bizarre because of the lines on the shoulder and armpit. I think it's kind of cool that you put those beats headphones on there and changed the skirt color to match, but those colors (as well as the eyes and skin) are oversaturated. The original scan has much more balanced colors.
Sorry to be harsh but this needs an exorbitant amount of work. I'm honestly surprised this was accepted. As it is, I would prefer to extract the original scan and use it instead. I think you need to post on the forums and ask for feedback before submitting. You should also seek out some tutorials. Here's a video tutorial for Illustrator (I'm pretty sure you're using Photoshop though) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_SrKx3eQoM . There are a few differences in tool mechanics between Photoshop and Illustrator, but you should at least be able to apply the organization techniques in this video with practice.
A few tips that might help you: 7953×5784 is probably overkill for what most people would be using this for. If you're going to use strokes, at least erase parts of the ends so they come to a point. The better option would be to use "fills" (which the video I posted should teach you how to do). This will avoid every single problem with the lines I pointed out if done correctly. For the colors you could just add an adjustment layer to lower the saturation. As for the quality, I don't even know how so many artifacts appeared. Save it in as high as quality as you can in Photoshop while being within the file size limits. Reducing the size of the image can minimize a lot of mistakes, I wouldn't suggest uploading it as large as you did. The lines are the biggest problem to me though, so if anything you should focus on that.

Wow! I think you have done a great job. The simple detail that you added in looks great. The colors work well together i think. :)

I really like your scan choice! At 8000px you can see everything! I love the body work, the coloring, the headphones, there's something about the eyes that I cannot describe, I don't know what the words are to describe it because I'm not a vectorer but something looks off, however when you see the thumbnail or view the small version of the download it's okay so I dunno! Anyway great work!

I was so impressed with the look of this vector when I spotted it on the homepage... then I full screened it =/
What can I say other than, disappointed. This vector has such potential... but needs a lot of work to get it there.
A few tipsand A lot of critique....;
Even if you work in HUGE sizes for your vector (I do too) you do not need to upload it at that exact size. You need to remember that other artists are going to use our vectors in walls, and a vector of this size is going to be a daunting task for them to try and use. Resize to something more manageable before submitting. I would have halved the size of this one at the least.
Don't EVER use stroked lines for your lineart. It looks unprofessional and untidy.
Your lineart needs to be crisp clean and solid, none of those partly erased or blurred sections, again also NOT stroked. Also if you are going to use coloured lineart, then follow through with that throughout the entire vector. A mismatch of black lineart on coloured areas and coloured lineart looks amatuerish. I mean what on earth is up with her having a coloured lineart arm, yet black lineart torso!? O_o It also detracts from what could otherwise be a better looking vector. And I don't know what you did to the lineart on her thigh, but it has weird lines running through it which are really obvious in full view.
Also... sigh ... you have lineart crossing over the top of coloured areas, like on the headphone cord that crosses her arm, and the line in her hair that crosses the flick of her fringe.
Ensure you haven't missed any parts you were supposed to colour, such as the petal of the smaller flower clip in her hair. And those colour mismatched lines on the black parts of her stocking are glaringly obvious. They are a sign of lacksadaisacal vectoring, lazy to say the least.
As for colours... if you are going to choose a colour to represent a darker area of clothing, such as the red lip of her stocking, at least choose a darker shade of the same colour.
Also beware that you line up the colouring correctly, as evidenced by the skirt that seemingly cuts into her thigh where it overlaps the lineart.
I could keep going on, but honestly I think I've said enough.
This is lazy vectoring at it's best.
A pro tip for you... Before submission, use what Isshi and I call the 'Eagle Eye'. Look over your vector with a critical eye to ensure these things ;
that is all. Very disappointed with what I thought was going to be an awesome vector. You can do better than this and I look forward to seeing it.
