Anyway, this is seriously one of the best wallpapers I've seen and also one of the best (if not the best) gundam wallpaper around. You absolutely get my total respect for having drawn most of the stuff from scratch using a stock as reference (kind of process that a lot of 'professional' cg artists do) using the default brushes. I'll get an other mod to highlight this sooner or later. heh >:]

Whoa... that's one good and really CG Gundam wallpaper. Althou there a few things that might ruined the whole package. Why the flowers are not burning like the rest of the field? unless you emphasize your title of the wall. Also the gunfire from the shoulders looks bit not in its place. I like the second version better.

The extraction really bad! In a thumbnail mode, your wall is great but in full mode, you can see how bad it is. Don't be mad but you need to fix it.

this is really great. i ve always been a huge fan of gundams i tell you this one of the best i have seen so far and i like how the way you the gundam is leaning agaisnt the huge rock and those little crimson colored flowers on the bottom right. all i can say is that this is a work of art.

Textures are amazing and the background is well though out. I don't quite understand why the flower is there, I think it takes the focus off the Gundam. The penetrating bullets are just crazy I have never seen anything like this. Definitely one of the top Gundam walls on AnimePaper.

I want to say that I have seen many gundam walls and this one is in my top 5. The detail is incredible. The fact you added the smoke and the air looks like its burning hot. Really great. Hope you spend another week and a half making another one definitely making it one of favs. Thank you for not putting text all over it, i think it works well without it. The one thing is that the flowers shouldn't be that big since they would have to be mutated underground flowers to be the size of a mecha. Other than that pretty good.

[Artistically]: 10 out of 10(composition is really solid, colors, lighting, etc) [Functionality]: 9 out of 10(you put less detail where the icons should go, that's appreciated) [Concept]: 10 out of 10(GREAT concept, I read your essay and the reasons behind the wallpaper are deeper than 'it looks cool') [Execution]: 8 out of 10(I honestly couldn't tell those were embers at first, also the smoking barrel thing is a myth. Barrels don't smoke like that. Still a very nice execution of ideas, very few problems)

[Overall]: 9.25, almost perfect but a few errors keep it from a perfect score. This is going in my favorites because there is a crap load of work behind it. Thanks for the great submission.

I think this is a extremly well done wallpaper. Usually I dont really like dark wallpapers because you tell what is going on but that is not the case for this wallpaper. I don't think I can get over the fact that the BG was made from scratch, even though it was based on a stock photo. The level of detail is simply insane, and I like your theme about how there's hope even in complete destruction.

Also, the fact that you're not a Gundam fan surprises me, since you pretty much captured the essence of a war between mobile suits (as they're called in the Gundam series) in your background, impressing both non-Gundam fans and Gundam fans alike.

The 3D model looks great! The background also fits in really well with the Gundam model, although the bullets looks kind of fake... I like the background as well. The dark atmosphere really works well with the eyes of the gundam, and the mirage illusion effect around the Gundam's legs look really nice as well. I don't particularly like the left-hand side of the wallpaper though. It looks a little too blurred, and the rocks looks a bit too realistic. Other than that I really like the wallpaper. +Fav

First off, I have to take my hat off to you bro! It takes amazing skill to do what you've done, from the smoke stemming from the gun to the disastrous (a good disastrous, ;) background, everything fits just fine. The piece makes me think the gundam and the pilot are trying to fight their way out of hell with the dark atmosphere and all. Fiery colors fit perfectly and the cracked background goes well with it. I'm not seeing much of anything that is out of place and that is one of the things that makes a design good, the fact that it has balance and that it does work well together. Perhaps the black spots would be better as lighter and detailed surfaces of the area, but even that fits because it adds depth. I wish I could point out something bad to help you, but I'm just not seeing it. Hopefully someone else can.
