Hello again my friends. It's been a little while since my last vector submission, not that I've been idle, just busy with several projects =P

Anyhow, this one is my submission for the Vecta Desu #15 Anime Kermesse 2011 contest. I chose to do Laura from Infinite Stratos.

I mainly chose this scan because out of the many many many scans I browsed looking for just the right one to do, this one jumped out at me and really caught my attention. I'm assuming she's meant to be a mecha bunny, as the scan calls her 'Black Bunny' ... though why she has a demon tail, I have no idea =/

lol

I've made a few minor changes to her other than colours, for example I added a necklace as I felt she needed a little something to brighten her up a tad. I also gave her tiny little vamp fangs, kinda like my signature if you will =P haha

Anyway, I had great fun vectoring her and it was my first time doing Mecha of any kind, so it was something different, a challenge that I found myself enjoying immensely.

So, I hope you enjoy her as much as I did vectoring her, and never fear I have several more vectors in the works that I hope to get completed soon.

Great vector. The change in hair color from the original is nice, makes her look better. I'm not a tattoo fan so not too bothered about that being omitted :P.

I love the work on the eye with that hint of purple on the bottom of the eye, the fangs too! Very sneaky! Nice work on the pendant thing too!

I love all the additions of shiny reflections, it's additions like that that make it really polished!

Yeah, the hair colour that she had bothered me, I had several shades in mind to try but decided the blues suited her best, so I'm glad you like it. Also, the tattoo... it seemed odd for her to have a Playboy bunny tattoo so I decided she was better off without it.

yay finally submitted ^^ GOOD WORK VAMPY :3 super huggles. well i saw the making since the beginning and this turned in a great work ^^ and now works for white bg =D

love the skin and weapon :D and nice vampy detail =p good job!!!! 1 mummy removed from the list >D

Finally some really good looking Infinite Stratos vector, the ones in the AP gallery are kinda simple, maybe also due the simpler art style of IS. But cannot say the same from yours, the already complex image was turned to a even better vector. Exactly what VD is and should be about. I myself would though also prefer a version with the original hair color, to keep Laura more recognazible. Now, I should also work more on my entry, closing getting near day by day. +Fav

Thanks for such a great comment Aki, much appreciated. Also, I would do another version with the original hair colour, but I have so many unfinished vectors that I need to get done that I just don't have the time for it.
