The most credits for this would go for the creator of the vector, the rest is just some random brush, and is quite funny that you even managed to lower the initial quality even of such a good looking vector. As long the original is sharp, yours is pixelated and has a white stroke arround, what I don't really get what is for. Also that white box would look a sicons if I would put it as my desktop (don't worry I will not) Also after 4,5 years of membership, maybe you could learn to write some proper descriptions.

Well this is the style I do, and don't worry it's quite popular. And there are more than just brushes in my wallpapers at least. I take my time to design a wallpaper. Not vector something and slap it on a gradient background or something and call that a wallpaper.

Maybe after 4 years of membership you could use a little more subtlety, and maybe you'd also realize that this member clearly doesn't frequent the site much. Try to be a little more constructive and a little less aggressive (as if blueangel06661 personally attacked you) to encourage new contributors like a seasoned member should. You're going to scare off new contributors by demanding perfection like that.
Now, the colors are really lovely, but the saturation makes it a bit harsh on the eyes. There is a bit of oversharpening going on, is it possible that you downloaded a non-transparent version of the vector and extracted it instead? Make sure you're downloading the .png files instead! I like the blending, but it might also help if you go a little easier on the elements that are on top of the girl. I like how your signature is really unobtrusive. I also like how the typography is varied in style, font, and colors that also match the background. One last thing to note: 1280x800 is a bit on the small scale of resolutions these days, so you might consider making new wallpapers bigger. Looking forward to your progress and future submissions, good luck!

Wow, you need to learn how to write critique that isn't completely rude. You were way out of line and didn't even offer any advice for how this wall could be improved. Basically, your entire comment was useless.

You act this way to all first submissions? Really, comments like this will make people want to stop. You think being a senior member you would learn some tact. All you did was say everything you don't like about this wallpaper, you didn't give any advice.
Next time you want to comment on someone's work, make sure you bring your manners.

For (I assume) a first time wall I love your composition. I love the overlaying on the character, good use of brushes. Nice space for your icons too. Great work look forward to seeing you improve :)

Thank you! I try to leave a space for icons, even though I don't use them anymore, I know that others do. ^-^

Overall I like it, but I really don't appreciate the text (and formatted this way) over the character, it's like a punch in the eye, maybe if you move the text box in the bottom right corner or somewhere less intrusive the result could be better

Very good point! Yeah, there could've been more on the right hand side...
I sort of wanted the heart text box over her because the biggest heart is where her heart is.. But I agree, it probably should've either been smaller and less on her or over to the right side of the paper. ^___^
Thank you!

Very cute!!

I think it's rather cute. Has nice style. Only complaint (if you could call it that) is text. The smaller font is harder to read but still a good font you used. And like another person said about having it bottom right corner or somewhere else, I think would look better then (make sense?). But overall quite good piece imo.

aki aki aki...that's a pretty rude comment for someone who are starting. you are my friend but i can't approve this to new people who are trying to make his/her best, better release your stress killing mobs in a FPS.
As for you blueangel try to start working in a bigger size , so you can offer more resolutions to the community, i always start with 2560x1440 and 2560x1600, you are working with the community vectors, so will be easy to start in a bigger size (if your computer can handle it) ^^ and yeah that text box don't look very well, better if u use the Typo with a mini white border, because the girl have a white border too.

Thank you ^__^ I'll try to do one of those sizes next! Bigger is just harder because you have a TON of space to kill.. And my photoshop has been doing this thing where the brush tool becomes spaztastic. But no excuses and I still do my pieces ^_^ I will certainly try what you have suggested!

yeah actually thats a little problem in photoshop because the brushes are made of "pixels" so they have a normal size "832" "432" 533" for example, but if you make it bigger, the brush it's all pixelated = less quality in your wall. Always you can try to find bigger brushes or find vector brushes or patterns. Here you can find and use for free, some patterns, brush, etc. in vector (remember to install illustrator, or use the .tga or .png in Photoshop) http://www.vecteezy.com/
and good luck

No, I mean I'll try to brush something but the curser changes to an arrow sign with a plus sign on it randomly and I can't change the brush unless i click on a different window.. otherwise it keeps placing brushes onto my canvas no matter which tool button I try to click x.X So weird. Must be a bug/glitch with PS.

Wow... harsh Aki, Harsh! .... As walling / vectoring Peers we should be encouraging and supporting the newer members starting out, it wasn't really all that long ago that we were in their position after all.
Having said that... to the wall itself...
Firstly, as Isshi said already, you should work in a bigger resolution. The biggest your pc can handle, you can always resize down and not lose quality. Plus working in higher resolutions gives you better quality with smaller details.
I like the idea you had for this wall but think you might have overdone it slightly with the elements covering her, seems a little too busy.
But overall, good work and I look forward to seeing you improve.
