I like this. I especially liked your description, Merc-chan. I've drawn pictures before and the amount of work spent on it is exhausting. You spent a month working! This must have been on your spare time... or did you work non-stop?

The picture itself is lovely although there is one thing I'd like to point out.

The floor grains or texture of the floor looks way too... perfect. The floorboards as individuals shouldn't be intersecting one another with perfectly intersecting grains. This leads me to believe that you had the background drawn first then added in the lines (to convey individual pieces of wood) later.
