Call me strange, but my favorite part of this wallpaper is the cat. ^_^; Anyway, nice work. Personally I would've liked it better with a blue background (I think it would have made the render stand out better, I believe), but you did capture quite a mood with your work.

One of my favorite things in this wallpaper is the sky and the colors you used and mixed in with the clouds. The sky goes well with the boy and cat too.

Doesn't this look like a balcony in heaven somewhere? I think the choice of colour for the sky dis that! All that cloud and all that sun-tinted hues with the birds and all. And of course there is nowhere on earth you can get butterflies at that altitude.

If you ask me, the only thing wrong with the balcony is the perspective. The tail of Kotarou's coat can in no way all lie flat on a ledge that narrow and the ledge itself (and the cat on it) is turned more towards the planar view than Kotarou.
