When I saw this scan I liked it!
So I vectored it increating an extension of the settee. I changed the whole atmosphere in using gothic colors (purple, red and black). I drew and painted a purple lustre and candles, worked on lightning and the reflexion on mirror. I drew and painted the mirror too and the table, added some red apples and a draped on the sofa. I finally emphasized the shadows and the whole atmosphere (sweet) in playing with light, color and glow effect.

normal motherboard with ddr3 support and a i-series socket, 15 processor is pretty decent while not being as expensive as an i7
graphics cards wise instead of looking at the current generation's cheaper models i'll look at the high end older generation models
bargain hunting is what it comes down to, be mindful of specials, you can save a lot at the right place :3
i always prefer buying the hardware physically, so i can have a good look

Awesome wallpaper! Nekomimi + striped thigh-highs = win! I love the way you expanded the original image. The mirror is especially awesome as is the table with the candles and extra apples (nom) I also like the darker atmosphere you created, it really gives this wallpaper that something extra.
As an aside, instead of a drape over the sofa it might have looked cool if it was a curtain that had been draped over it (just expanded a bit to the top), but this is just me nit-picking for the sake of it. ;P
Overall a very nice wallpaper, it's heading straight to my desktop and taking me into the new year! fav+

My only complaint - the floor which has the same patter as the walls :P
But in general - I love the dark colors, fruit theme - kind of a parallel for the First Sin of Eva, so the Nekomimi seduces us)))
