Well here is my entry for VectaDesu 15...it's Dalian from Dantalian no Shoka! I really liked Dalian and she was so cute, that I really wanted to vector her! The problem is...there weren't and still aren't really any good scans of her to vector! So, I picked this one, at any rate, which may have been a bad choice. Still, I gave it my all and tried to make something good out of it.
I know, I know, the skin color/lighting etc looks weird, you don't gotta tell me. It just comes with the scan, and I didn't feel like changing the entire lighting and coloring to make it look a bit less odd. So live with it haha! Anyways, hope you enjoy this vector and don't forget to leave a comment and let me know what you think!

AHA! The rare scan we found was outdone by this "vecta".
I approve of the dark background... since we want to emphasize the lighting which the Dalian's image always had. IMO the skin color of Dalian is okay... for the dark background you had placed on.
Overall... I really liked this vector... +1 for you, acid.

I love the entry. I saw how much you struggled to make it work for you. And to me you accomplished that entirely. You matched the colors perfectly, and the gradient you used on the background ties into the piece as well. In terms of Composition, i suppose it feels a bit empty. No offence man. I think it feels a little heavier on the side. I do love your choice of lighting and how fluid your vectors have become. I just can't believe it got a D rating. I don't see anything wrong per say with your lines like Hates pointed out earlier so the fixes to me look nice. Color choice is good, the cool dark feeling of the show is definitely present. I give you a + for your great work.

All that effort paid off, it looks really good! Nice work on the eyes, good colors for a dark set, you really like to vector on hard mode! Nice gradient on the hair hat type thing! Awesome!

Love the highlight most of all. And gradients too. There's this black outline on the eye that troubles me though =/ Why not just make them consistently purple? I'm a bit disappointed that you didn't vector the lower part too but meh XP

Despite you say that colors are somehow strange, but I like them! They remind me a kind of mystic, gothic room in a dark castle, where the candle is the only beam of light through the stained-glass. The only thing which is ticking, it's the black outline on her eye, but in general the vector is really awesome!
