I can't help but notice the white outline around the character and the lack of cleaning on it. Especially the head/hair area. The text is also lacks umph being gray and so thin. The colors are sort of interesting, but I feel a little more contrast could have been done on it. Or lighting. Because essentially you pasted an "extracted" version of the scan on top of a larger black and white version of the scan then spilled some colors on it.

I feel you were going somewhere with it then fell a little short.

Love it man! I like that streak of light and color on Teito; really gives off that "Seed of Hope" feeling. .(though, I think you wouldn't feel it unless you know the story of the anime right?) You've done an awesome job and conveyed it just right. Great job man! +fav!
