Hmmm... the brushes used for the background look low quality and blurry. I think you should add at least a little bit of colour because Lightning has colour. It might also look better if you do some lighting, because as far as i can see there really isn't any. The text font looks meh in my opinion, and it sticks out a lot, if that was what you were going for good. if not, you should lower the opacity of it or lighten the colour to match it up with the other parts of the background. Only major issue is the little bit about the quality being a bit low when it comes to the background.

I don't want to sound towards you disrespectful, but somehow I miss to see any lighting with soft atmosphere there. To tell it straight, it's a not very good wallpaper,and basically is empty and plain looking. You cannot put a CG character from FF into a abstract background with some flat brushes and await that our members will see it as awesome. You can see in the lack of any comments, that people don't paytoo much attention to it.

I see that you at least tried to blend the character with the lower contrast, but in my opinion of you want to play with CG characters, is better to go with photo manipulation, and try to combine stock with grunge. (useful website for usable stocks would be sxc.hu) Also, if you plan do more things with Final Fantasy CG art, you might t try out a bit the Terragen software which allows to create photorealistic backgrounds.

I have to disagree, if you add lightning to this, it might ruin it a bit. The background is pretty good, it's just that the image of lighting is really sharp, so therefore the flowers in the background should try to match her as well and be sharp as well. Overall it's a good wallpaper and I think everything fits each other pretty well.

the image look way too pale, and the background is poorly done.well i guess it still a wallpaper. it's not like everyone here has to be like pro.
