I guess the time has come for my second wallpaper, which I managed to create in between all work and school projects i've been assigned with.

Not many people may like it, but I'm quite a fan of snow and I think it's white and bright color is quite cheerful and calming in these short and dark winterdays.

Therefore I tried to make a quite dark but still calming atmosphere, which gives a sensation that everything is going to be all right.

I'm not really good at making lightning effects, so I didnt dare to change much on the character. So some advice on shades and light would be very appreciated, since this probably looks quite fucked up from a professional view.

The vector of Nezumi is created by konishi

and the vector of C.C in the back is created by VioletVonBlacha

Good job on those vectors :)

Having all this said, I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did creating it. Feel free to leave comments and advice on how I can improve it.

I think the text should follow the lines of the background so on an angle. The shadow also looks unnatural because of how the background looks like theres some perspective (seen from a point of view other than head on)so I think you should play around with skew and perspective tools to make it look more natural if possible.

I agree, if the text was placed along the cracks in the wall it might seem more natural. Just my two cents.

I like the atmosphere that you created for Nezumi but I don't quite understand why you chose to mix CC in there. At first I thought that the background picture was of Nezumi in his artsy stage, theater character (that would've made more sense to me). I just don't see how she, CC fits into the wallpaper at all. Otherwise it's a fairly decent turn out.

Actually there is really no reason why I chose CC, I haven't seen nor read No.6 thus I know nothing about Nezumi or the manga/anime. (The vector happened to fit my idea for the wall)

But you're probably right, now that you've pointed it out I feel quite stupid to not have given it more thought.

Thanks for taking your time commenting :)

This wallpaper makes me feel so incredibly sad. :( It might be better if you'd made use of the light source and highlighted it on Nezumi's body. Though I think that may be personal preference.
